Aryan takes the lighter from her hand and lights the fire and they sit close to these two trees. Both sit silently looking towards the fire for a while. Imlie then looks at Aryan and speaks.

Imlie : Aryan.

Aryan hums without looking.

Aryan : Hmm.

Imlie : Thank you once again.

Now, Aryan looks at her and raises his eyebrows a little. Imlie gives him a soft smile and speaks.

Imlie : You know I have never been as happy to see you as I was at that moment. At that time all my resentment and anger towards you went away.

She chuckles after saying this but Aryan again starts looking ahead and speaks in a serious voice.

Aryan : But I'm still angry with you.

Imlie frowns and asks.

Imlie : Why?

Aryan : Because of your stupidity.

Imlie pouts. Aryan continues.

Aryan : You shouldn't have gone alone like that. And anyway, weren't you really afraid of going alone in such a deserted forest.

Imlie smiles and says.

Imlie : No.

Aryan : Why?

Aryan : Because I knew you would definitely follow me.

Imlie says this very confidently and looks at him and smiles. Aryan also looks at her and raises his eyebrows in amusement then asks.

Aryan : How can you be so sure?

She starts looking towards the fire.

Imlie : Because I trust you. (She pauses for a while and then looks at him) I knew you would never leave me alone at night in the forest like that. Not just me, you can never leave any girl like that.

She says all this honestly, looking straight into his eyes. There is a lot of sincerity and trust in her voice. Aryan is surprised to hear her words. He just keeps looking at her without blinking. Then he scoffs and looks towards the fire, then says.

Aryan : So much trust for a person whom you hate the most.

Imlie frowns after hearing this. Then she says.

Imlie : Who said I hate you? I don't hate you Aryan, I never did. (She looks at him sincerely) Yes, I didn't like your attitude, that's why I used to get angry with you and also disliked you, but I never hated you Aryan, never ever. (She looks forward again then looks down and speaks softly)
What's more, I apologized to you and extended my hand of friendship towards you, but because of your hatred for me, you turned down my friendship proposal, remember?

Imlie says all this sadly, Aryan just looks at her with amusement without saying anything but after hearing her last sentence he speaks.

Aryan : I also never hated you Imlie. (Imlie quickly turns her head towards him. After a brief silence he continues) What was that, no one had ever stood in front of me nor had anyone ever talked to me like that, so I was irritated by your words and your attitude. Yes, I admit that I also disliked you but never hated you. (He said all this with as much honesty and sincerity as he could. Then he starts looking ahead towards the fire) And as far as friendship is concerned, I had stopped being friends with anyone long ago. Raj, Preeti and Swara are my childhood friends. An accident that happened four years ago changed my whole world Imlie, it changed me completely.
