HALDI FUNCTION

Aryan : Which plan are you talking about?
Imlie : Which plan are you talking about?

Kunal and Sonali look at each other nervously, both do not say anything. Then they look at Imlie and Aryan who are looking at them suspiciously. Kunal clears his throat and says.

Kunal : Actually, I had made a plan and convinced Sonali to join me in it. We both had deliberately left you alone there so that you would be forced to come together in the same car because I felt that if you both stay alone together for some time, you will be forced to talk to each other. And perhaps the anger that you both had towards each other will end and you will become friends. But we did not know that all this would happen. Please forgive me this time. Next time we will make some different plan which will be better than the previous one, I promise.

Aryan looks at Kunal angrily but before he can say anything, Imlie speaks.

Imlie : There is no need for that.

Sonali and Kunal look at them with curious eyes. Imlie smiles and says.

Imlie : Because we have already become friends.

Sonali and Kunal gasp and their eyes go wide. Both do not utter a word for some time and just look at each other and then at Imlie and Aryan. Imlie and Aryan look at them with confusion. Then Kunal and Sonali look at them with suspicious eyes and ask.

Kunal : Really?
Sonali : Really?

Imlie nods her head then they looks at Aryan. Aryan rolls his eyes at their dramatic antics but when Imlie looks at him with a pointed look, he nods his head. Kunal and Sonali shout and hug them.

Kunal : See, how smart I am. My plan worked.

Aryan lightly pushes Kunal to separate him from him, Imlie and Sonali also break their hug. Aryan asks Kunal.

Aryan : Stop your nonsense and tell me, what was Maa talking about? What task did you give us that we did not complete nor do we know anything about it?

Kunal : Actually, when we reached here, everyone started asking us questions like how we both have come together and where are you both? At that time we had lied that the fitting of our Haldi's outfits was not proper, so to get it rectified, we have sent both of you to my friend's place who is a designer and his house is on the way and you guys will come soon. But when you did not come even till evening and  yours phones were not working, then everyone started showering questions on us, so we said that you both will take time there and you will stay there and will come early in the morning.

Aryan snorts and speaks in frustration.

Aryan : Firstly, because of you, we had to stay there in the forest for the whole night and as soon as we reached here, we got scolded because of your lies, very good. If you were not the groom and your face was not to be kept safe for your wedding, I would have beaten you so much that you would never even think of doing such a thing again.

Kunal gulps in fear and speaks nervously.

Kunal : Now what's done is done, yaar. Leave this matter aside and tell me how did you two become friends?

Sonali (excitedly) : Yes, yes, tell us, who took the initiative first?

Imlie : Nothing, we were sitting in the forest and there was no one else to talk to, so we thought of talking to each other and then during our conversation, I extended my hand of friendship towards him and he accepted it. So that's how we became friends.

Hearing this, Kunal and Sonali become very happy and hug them tightly. Aryan and Imlie get irritated and separate them from themselves and say.

Aryan : Why are you two clinging to us so much? We can talk even at a distance, right?
