Y/N didn't bother to turn around. "It's none of your concern," he said, his tone cold and dismissive. He began to peel off his shirt, the fabric sticking to his skin.

Evelyn's eyes narrowed, her own anger rising. "You can't just come in here covered in blood and tell me it's none of my business," she spat, her voice a mix of fear and frustration. "What happened to you?"

Y/N sighed, his patience wearing thin. "It's just a little...mishap," he said, his voice tight. "It's nothing you need to worry about."

Evelyn's eyes narrowed, her hands on her hips. "A mishap?" she echoed, her voice rising. "You're covered in blood, and you're telling me it's nothing?"

Y/N's patience was wearing thinner than the fabric of his shirt, sticking to his skin like a second layer of his own flesh. He turned to face her, his eyes cold and hard. "I said it's not your concern," he snapped, his voice a low growl.

Evelyn took a step back, her own anger giving way to a flicker of fear. She had never seen him like this before, so... unpredictable. "What the hell is wrong with you?" she whispered, her voice shaking.

Y/N's eyes remained cold, his jaw clenched. "I've had a long day," he said, his voice tightly controlled. "Just leave me alone."

But Evelyn didn't back down. She stepped closer, her eyes searching his face. "What happened?" she demanded, her voice shaking. "Who did you hurt?"

Y/N's jaw tightened, his eyes flashing with anger. "It's nothing," he said, his voice tight. "Just leave it alone."

But Evelyn was relentless. "You can't just come home looking like this and expect me to ignore it," she said, her voice trembling. "Who did you hurt?"

Y/N's shoulders slumped, the weight of his secrets heavy upon him. He knew he couldn't keep this from her forever. With a resigned sigh, he turned to face her, the blood on his shirt a stark contrast to the sterile white of their apartment. "Fine," he said, his voice a defeated whisper. "You want to know?"

Evelyn's eyes searched his, a mix of fear and concern. "What did you do?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Y/N's grip on his shirt tightened, the fabric tearing slightly in his fist. He took a deep breath, his shoulders slumping. "I killed someone," he murmured, the words barely audible.

Evelyn's eyes went wide with shock, her hand flying to her mouth. "What?" she gasped, her voice barely a whisper.

Y/N nodded, his expression grim. "I killed Paul," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. "In the alley, after work."

Evelyn stared at him, her eyes unblinking. "Why?" she choked out, her voice barely audible.

Y/N shrugged, his eyes cold and empty. "He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. "It was a...violation of the dress code."

Evelyn's hand dropped from her mouth, her eyes wide with horror. "You killed him over a shirt?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

Y/N nodded, his eyes meeting hers without flinching. "It's more than just a shirt," he said, his voice cold and calculated. "It's about respect. It's about order."

Evelyn took another step back, her hand shaking as she reached for the bedpost to steady herself. "Oh my god," she murmured, her eyes filling with tears. "What have you become?"

Y/N moved closer, his own hands coming up in a soothing gesture. "It's okay," he murmured, his voice a lie wrapped in velvet. "It had to be done."

Evelyn's eyes searched his, the horror in her gaze slowly giving way to a more primal fear. "What's happening to you?" she whispered, her voice trembling.
