I was in the trailer about to go out and meet everyone on FaceTime with Ellie
"I know you were staring to love" I cut her off "no" "hey listen you're a star and you are gonna kill this roll don't let him hold you down" I smile at her and nod my head "you should get back to your date with Noah" "hi Eliana" Noah yells and we both started laughing "bye Ellie" "bye bye loves"
"Heyyy" Lola says entering my trailer "so today New Year's Eve and we are celebrating on cousins beach all together" I smile at her and look down at my phone "thinking about him still?" I shrugged a little "he's still gonna be in your heart but this is about you, you finally decided to chase your dreams." She puts her forehead on my forehead "now let's go be the best Belly and Anika ever" I started laughing and followed her out the trailer
-MATTS POV-
"How she doing?" I asked Chris who just scoffed at me "Chris you know why he did it" Nick argues "still stupid thing to do and I don't wanna keep this from her" Madi complains "she's doing fine the cast is gonna have a party on the beach to celebrate new years and she said she'll send pictures later" I just nodded
"What's our new years plans?" Nick asks the group "Sab wants to come over" they all groaned "guys come on she's my girlfriend again" "I don't get why you guys have to actually date" Madi says "to fill the dark pit in his heart" Chris says hitting my shoulder walking past me
"I guess let's just get this holiday over with, I wish Ellie was here" Madi says following after Chris.
-ELLIES POV-
"This is amazing" I say staring at all the lights they had set up and the girls singing to cruel summer "guys this is our new Anika" Lola introduces me. They all said hi and started talking to me. It felt really good talking to everyone and getting to know the cast "cheers to our final summer together" Chris says raising his drink and everyone cheers their drinks together "hey and cheers to your first summer with us" Rain says cheering my drink and winking at me. "To my first summer" I laugh
"Oh guys count down!" Gavin yells. We in sync all started counting down together "5 4 3 2 1, happy new years!"
-MATTS POV-
"Happy new years Clementine" I say to myself staring out my balcony "Matt, Sab is here!" Nick yells from the living room.
-sneak peak at book two, Taste-
"Matt and Sab blah blah blah" I say throwing myself onto my couch "ew that's disgusting why even post that?" Rain says handing my phone to Lola "seriously he has the audacity to kiss that girl after everything is just disgusting" she then hands the phone to Madi "well she'll just have to taste you when he's kissing her" we all start laughing and get ready for our next scene
"Matt seems so much funnier lately his jokes hit differently" Sab laughs to Nick "guess who he's learned them from" Chris says raising his eyebrows then walking away from her "shut up Chris, let's go Sab" I say walking with her out the apartment "hey wait, the trailer just dropped" Nick yells running to the living room "what trailer" Sab asks "nothing just forget about it" I try to keep her from walking over to the living room "ooo look at our girl on the big screen" Chris smiles "hey Matt this must be heartache on the big screen for you" Madison says laughing
"Wow Matt" Sab scoffs and walks out the apartment me "Sab wait!" I yell after her "you let the wrong girl go" Madison says not taking her eyes off the screen "I couldn't hold her back from her dreams"
