CHAPTER TWO
"CUT!" The director called "THAT WAS A WRAP OF THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY SEASON THREE!" I ran over to Rain and Lola and hugged them tightly "oh god let's get you out of this wedding dress" I laughed at Lola "which wedding was better this or team jellyfish" Rain asked "definitely team bonrad" I roll my eyes "Hey let's take one last swim in the summer pool" Lola said while we walked to our trailers "after you're out of the dress?" Chris asked "no Chris with the dress" she says sarcastically
"I'll meet you guys out there" I laughed walking into my trailer and running to my phone "pick up pick up" I groan while the phone rang "hellloooo" Nick dragged out his words "THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY IS OFFICIALLY WRAPPED" I yelled excitedly. There was a small silence before I could hear Chris Madi and Nick all chanting in the back "ELLIE IS COMING HOME!" I started laughing at them
I had my phone on speaker on top of my little table while I quickly changed into a bathing suit "yes but I still have a interview tomorrow and a event AND I have my first audition for live action of corpse bride" I say butting my lip nervously "if you are doing that nervous lip bite I'm gonna kill you" Chris says "hey!" I yell then start to laugh "you got this you will be the best Victoria ever" Chris says encouragingly "yeah well...I had a talk with my agent and Tim actually asked for me to audition for Emily" it was quiet and then they all started screaming again
"Ellie, you coming?" Lola asked at my trailer door "yeah be right there!" I yelled back to her "I gotta go guys I'll call you later!" I yell to them "May I please speak to Madi real fast...in private?" I ask
"Give me the phone" I hear Madi then some shuffling around some of Chris screaming and then a door closing "hi lovely" she says sweetly
"Um how's" "Matt?" She cuts me off "He's good him and Sab are on and off, I swear he really only hangs out with her at parties and even then he backs away when ever she gets physical"
Chris called me a week into filming and explained that Matt had only gotten back with Sab because he wanted me to have a reason to leave for filming. But still
"Maybe you guys should.." "no" I say "but Ellie" "maybe he had good intentions but he didn't have to kiss her he didn't have to date her he didn't have to do what he did and he doesn't have to still be dating her" silence from both ends "I gotta go" "I love you" I hung up and just sat in the silence
"Madi?" "Yes?" She answers the phone "I love you" she laughs a little "I know" "hey so, my agent said maybe you should audition for Victoria?" I ask "I don't know I mean I was Lacie and that was only for an episode nothing serious" I groaned "Madi you Nick and Chris pushed me to pursue what I love to do, now I'm pushing you. I'm gonna send the script and you are gonna send in a video audition for the role okay?" I ask "yea yeah get to your cast thing and I will think about it. Bye bye Ellie!" She says before hanging up
After the interview we quickly got ready and hopped into a tour bus taking us to the event.
"Okay guys we are now on our way to a little event with some other actors ooooo" David says to his camera he's been constantly making tiktok vlogs with Chris Gavin and Sean "are you nervous for your audition?" Lola asked sitting next to me "sorta I'm excited for sure but it was one thing when it was for Victoria but Emily?" I whispered "that is cause you are star material" she hugs me "weird how my audition just so happens to also be Georgia and that's where the party is at" "mm that's cause apparently the guy Tim Burton himself asked to audition for Victor is gonna be at the event" Rain cuts in taking a seat next to us
"He's gonna be there?" I asked even more nervous "yeah but don't worry you're gonna do great." "Alright we are here!!" Gavin yells and runs off the bus "one more event then I can finally go back home" I whisper to myself, kissing my locket that has a photo of Nick and Chris in it.
FLASHBACK
"Dear Miss Eliana" Lola starts to read a letter that was with a care package from the triplets "I know how deeply you miss us" she mocks them and Rain and I laugh "but to make your sorrows go away we have given you this locket" I hold up the heart shaped locket "if you open it you'll see a photo of your two favorite people" I opened it to find a picture of Nick and Chris. I snort a little then put the locket on "ps Lola you can't replace us" she gasp reading the letter "oh um there's also another letter from" I grabbed it and put it into my little box with all the other letters he's sent me "common maybe you should read them" Rain suggest "no I cried enough and I can't let this get in the way of shooting, I will keep this necklace on though"
"Common just put my picture in there" I argue "no she doesn't need anything to hurt her more but you could put another one of those letters you write her" Chris says writing his letter "how do you know" "Matt you write one almost every week to her" Nick cuts me off "you think she reads them?" I ask and they both just looked at each other "yeah Matt she does" Madi says rubbing my arm. I knew she was lying but I just needed to make sure she doesn't throw them away. "Guess what her agent scheduled her an audition for the live action corpse bride after the finish shooting the last episode" Madi says reading a text from Ellie "no way as Victoria?" Nick ask "no she'll definitely get the roll as Emily" I cut him off "why cause she's the other women?" Chris asked "no" I walk over putting my letter in the box "because she's a lead, she's a star"
