008 - santa doesn't know you like i do

I was deep asleep Nicks bed when I heard the door slam open and footsteps running towards me

"Ellie wake up there's a fire!" Chris Matt and Nick all yell running into nicks room "what!" I gasp from the shock "let's go let's go" they say picking me up from bed and rushing me out the house and into the car "wait! Finn!" I yell

I look at the boys in the fully packed car smiling at me while Matt was holding onto Finn and Madi was in the driver seat

"Huh?" I said confused "welcome aboard you will be spending Christmas at drum roll please" Chris points to Nick and Matt who were making drum noise and patting there legs "Christmas in Boston!" All three of them yell while Madi laughed "Huh!" I said louder "Well we didn't want you to be alone on Christmas so you're coming with us" Chris smiles sitting next to Madi in the front "Madi is gonna drop us off and return my car SAFELY" Matt yells she rolls her eyes and we made our way to airport

"Hey" Madi says giving me my already packed bags "this was all Matt's idea" she says winking
I rolled my eyes "take care of my cat" I hand her Finn and head into the airport

"Okay guys who we sitting with? Two and two who are our pairs?" Nick ask waving our tickets around "I'm sitting with Chris" Matt says "well what if I wanted to sit with Chris" Nick argues "I wanna sit with Ellie" Chris chimes in "okay I'll sit with you" Nick grabs Matt's hand and Matt quickly lets go "nope me and Chris"

I was watching everyone else already board the plane and I did not wanna throw hands with some Karen over my window seat

"Thank you" I grab a random ticket and giving Matt and Chris two other random tickets before grabbing onto Nicks hand and boarding

"We sitting together right?" Nick ask "um I think I grabbed random "11A window" I say excitedly that I drew a window seat "booo" I laugh at Nick he looks down at his "11D window" "ooo look who also got a window" I say pulling his hand to our seats "yeah but we're across from each other so we either have Matt or Chris"

"Alright which one is 11" Chris looks closer at his ticket. Apart of me wanted his ticket to be 11C next to Nick "B, 11B" my smiled dimmed a bit "that would be right here partner" I say patting the seat next to me "oh god I'm stuck with Nick, Chris switch with me" Matt begs "Nope! I'm with my bestie" I laugh and just try to get situated

"What you reading?" Chris asks looking over "Nothing just" "summer I turned pretty?" He ask
"I love series so much but I don't think I'd be good for the part" he groans "what?" I laugh "you're an amazing actress just audition" he encourages me "At least we'd be there for you every step of the way, will even sleep in your trailer on set" he winks

My heart dropped a bit

"You okay?" He ask "yup, yup" I nod "what's the deal with you and Matt?" I look over Matt who was asleep then back at Chris "nothing" I smile "uhuh, well when me and Nick came home that one day you guys were both asleep on the couch together" I knew i should've just finished watching modern family in Nicks room

  "and some how Matt knew you needed somewhere to go for Christmas" I didn't say anything just looked at my hands "do you like Matt?" "I don't know" I answer "he was talking to Sab the other night" "the night he spent the night at your apartment?" He cuts me off. I looked up at him smirking at me "Matt hates me"
"you really still think that?"

I was playing with trev and talking to Marylou "so you and Chris liked each other?" She ask "no" I laugh "yes" Nick chimes in "they thought they liked each other and they couldn't be even more wrong" we all started laughing "common let's go take a walk in the snow before we go to bed" Chris says picking up Trev "I'll be right there" I say walking over to nicks room to get a sweater

"Hey" I look over to the door "hey Matt" I smile "here maybe you'd like this one" he hands me a hoodie "no way a Dominic hoodie I've been dying to get one of these" i quickly put it on over my tee "how's it look" I pose jokingly "amazing" he smiles pushing hair out of my face. I started blushing but quickly walked past him "we should start meeting up with them" I clear my throat and quickly walk out the room

"So what did you get Matt?" Nick asks. We were a bit further from the group so they wouldn't hear us "what makes you think I got him something?" I question jokingly "common" he says in a serious tone "um I got him a lego set and, tickets to a Dominic concert" Nick looked at me shocked "he's been wanting to go" "yeah I know" he cuts me off

"I guess Chris and Madi were right" I looked at him confused "we all kinda thought Matt liked you but we didn't know if you felt the same" "pfft yeah okay, me and Matt don't like each other" I laugh "Nick common lets go to sleep for Santa" Chris whines. Nick and I both give him a what the fuck face "anyways, just wait till you get your gift. Then try to tell me there's nothing there" he says before running after Chris

At first I was asleep in Nicks room but kept thinking about the job offer and decided to get some fresh air

"Why are you awake?" I jumped a little "jeez always scaring me" I laugh "I'm just" I look back at the house "I've haven't been this happy in so long" he smiles at me "I feel like I have a family"
"We are your family" he reaches into his hoodie pocket and pulls out a little black box

  "here your present" I opened it to an infinity necklace "I uh kinda read the first summer I turned pretty book when I stayed the night that one time, so I know what infinity means" I stared at the necklace my heart beating so fast.

"hm?" He asked "this is the best Christmas I've had since my dad" I start to tear up "good, I wanna make sure every Christmas is like this for now on" he said wiping my tears "when did you start caring so much?" I laugh. He shrugged, putting his finger under my chin and lifting my face up to him slowly kissing me

I pulled away for a second and his face slowly dropped "can you put the necklace on me?" I ask he laughed a bit before pulling me into another kiss that we both started to laugh into
