Chapter 10

The tension between Cale and Beacrox slowly melted away.  They was talking more freely now.

Cale was scared of Beacrox at first, but the fear slowly disappeared.  Cale was actually starting to have fun as they talked.  He's still cautious around Beacrox, but not as much as before.  It turns out that getting to know Beacrox isn't as bad as he think.

Ron watched from afar and smiled.

Ron: "I leave the rest to you, Beacrox."

Ron walked away, wishing his son luck.

Meanwhile, Cale and Beacrox were talking most calmly. Already finishing eating their food.

Cale: "By the way, do you know when we should arrive at the Roan Magic School?"

Beacrox: "Tomorrow morning,  young master"

Cale: "Tomorrow morning huh?"

Tomorrow morning, they will arrive for the opening ceremony of the new school year at the Roan Magic School.  Which means he has to do his best to avoid the rest of the main characters, including the heroine.

Now that he think about it, in the bad ending of the game, Cale Henituse was killed along with the main character in by the villain of the game.  He created the Arm organization, and he was always in the shadows, so Cale doesn't know much about him.  The only thing she knows about him is that he is the main villain of the game and wants world domination.

But of course there were other cases in the game where Cale died from the main characters.  So Cale had a lot to worry about in the future.

Cale cursed inwardly.  How will he deal with this?  He not only has to avoid the characters of the game and be careful not to end up beaten somewhere but also avoid death at all costs.

He will not think of dying.  What is worse than pain is death.  He is determined to stay alive and live a peaceful life.  Maybe he can even become a farmer and have his own house and barn somewhere far away from here and live out his life there.  No wars, no pain and no death.  That's all Cale wanted.

The motto of the Henituse family is: There is no reason to be recorded in history.   Instead, live for peace and happiness.

Kim Rok Soo liked this motto. This is exactly what he does, he will live in peace, create good relations with the main characters so that they have no reason to hurt him, graduate from Roan Magic School without incidents and then go far away and make his dream come true, a calm, quiet and peaceful life, far away on the farm.

The perfect plan for a peaceful life.

Cale was rich, so he had nothing to worry about, anyway.

Beacrox on the other hand looked confused, the sides changed at Cale's expression.

Cale: "I'm ready. It was delicious."

Beacrox's eyes widened as he saw Cale's empty plate.  He admits that he stare the pensive Cale for a while, but...how long the hell did he stare at him?  Now that he thinks about it, his plate is almost empty too…

Cale: "The fish was amazing Beacrox. Good job. Tell Ron he did well too when he comes back."

Beacrox looked at the smiling Cale, and couldn't help his own smile.  He was glad that Cale liked his cooking.  It motivated him, and he wanted to see that beautiful smile of Cale's more often.  He was a little embarrassed for staring at him for so long, but Cale didn't seem to notice, so he assumed it was okay.

Beacrox: "Of course, young master."

Cale took the kittens, who had just finished eating the fish Ron had left for them, and went back to rest in the carriage.

Half an hour later, the carriage started again.  And they headed to the Roan Magic School.  They stopped for dinner also, but if they wanted to get there in time, they had to travel by night, so they had no choice but to travel by night as well, and because of that, after having dinner, they set off again.

Bicrox and Cale didn't talk much after that, and after dinner Cale fell asleep in the carriage, Kittens was coddling on Cale laps, sleeping peacefully.

The next morning, Ron woke Cale up.  Cale slowly opened his eyes, still very sleepy, and woke up as he rubbed his eyes trying to wake up at least a little. On and Hong wakes up too.

He really hated getting up early…He is almost sure the kids agree with him.

Cale: "Good morning Ron"

Cale yawn again, still very sleepy.

Cale: "What's going on? Where are we?"

Ron smiled again at the confused, sleepy Cale, the good-natured smile that Cale was now used to.

To be honest, Cale was pretty adorable when he was tired.  Like a sleepy little puppy.

Ron: "We're almost there, young master. I know you're tired, but we need to get you ready for your first day of school at Roan Magic School."

Cale instantly woke up hearing this.  The time has come, for him to do everything he can to survive.  Cale got up and looked at Ron, with his usual poker face, and gave him permission to help him get ready for today, but inside Cale was actually serious and even nervous.  After all, if he made even one misstep, Cale could die at this school.  Cale wasn't planning on wasting his time, he had to save himself.  In this dangerous new world, he can only trust and rely on himself.

But when Cale stepped out of the carriage, Beacrox's eyes widened, and he began to blush profusely.  But who can blame him?  Cale was dressed in a white shirt that outlined the features of his body, gray trousers, a red jacket and a red tie with white stripes that fit Cale perfectly.  How the hell is it possible for anyone to look this good?!

Cale looked at Beacrox confused, wondering why he was looking at him like that.  But he didn't pay much attention to him and he walked away.

A whole minute later, Ron had to pat his son on the shoulder to compose himself and they followed Cale, standing behind him.

Cale stop for a second, before crossing the threshold of the school with determination, he wasn't going to let his fate kill him, he was going to stay alive no matter what.

This school year will be decisive, difficult and challenging for Cale.

Well, it's a good thing Cale is good at challenges.
