Miss Bethany had told me to sit down wherever I liked. Taking a seat on one of the sofas. It was comfy. Miss Bethany took a seat on the other sofa, opposite me.

“Now I am just going to ask you some basic questions.” She started off by saying. My eyes were just fixed looking directly at her, but making no eye contact at the same time.

“Obviously when you first arrived you hardly talked. This meant we never got all the information down that we needed.”

Nodding my head slightly, making sure she knew I was listening to her. Taking a tablet off of the little table that was between the two sofas. Looking back towards me, her expression was neutral. “So what's your last name?”

Looking back at her, confused why they now suddenly wanted to know my last name, Dr. Wilson had only asked me for my first name and my age. Everything else she asked was about my medical history, that I knew of.

Tilting my head slightly. “O’Connor…?” I trailed off, answering her question while also questioning myself. Tapping my answer into her tablet thing.

Knowing these were just basic questions but this setup was starting to stress me out slightly. My knee started to bounce, not knowing why this situation was stressing me out. It could be because of the slight episode I had and the built up emotions from it, hadn't calmed down enough yet.

Miss Bethany was about to ask me another question when there was a knock at the door. Instantly my eyes locked with the door, wanting to know who was behind it.

“Give me one second, Luna, I am just going to see who it is, and make sure everything is okay.” Speaking clearly to me as she got up. Turning my attention back onto her movements, making sure I was safe.

Carefully walking over to the door, she turned towards me. “I'll just be a second, stay there okay.” Nodding my head to her, not trusting my own voice to give her a verbal response.

Opening the door, she slipped out. Leaving me with my thoughts.

Miss Bethany's POV

Slipping myself out the door, to be faced by one of the admin staff. In her hand was a price of paper. “You okay Victoria?” I looked at her confused as to why she had walked all the way to my office, when she could have just radioed me or emailed me.

“Yes ma’am, I just have a very important message to tell you… the government wants you, the skipper, Charlotte and Riley to meet with them in person, to discuss something that is redacted in this message. The message also said it has to be in person, not online ma’am.” Sighing, rubbing my face with my hand. Just when I was getting started with Luna, when we were going to start implementing routines and structure the government had to request to see us.

Not just me and my wife but the whole upper management of this facility. “Thank you for letting me know, I will sort everything out from here.” With a quick nod of her head, she hurried off in the opposite direction.

Pulling out my personal phone, I sent my wife a text asking her to tell Charlotte and Riley to pack a bag for a couple of days. I also asked for herself and either Harper or Avery to come to my office.

Putting my phone away once I got a reply from her, slipping it back into my pocket. Opening the door again to my office and walking back in.

Luna was exactly where I left her, in the same position, like she hadn't moved an inch when I stepped out. This worried me slightly on leaving her without the basic support most new patients receive, but especially worried me more because of everything that has occurred since she's been with us.
