What if I was in Futuramous, A Virtual Reality RPG?

Chapter 12: First round

The look in your opponent's eyes tells you everything when in battle. If you are not watching and if you allowed yourself to be suckered in into their trap. It is your own fault for not paying any attention because in every battle, your opponent is trying to fool you into a trap to take your distraction as your weakness to make it their strength.

Heading towards the East side of the wall to line behind Captain Jack then hearing Lucio say, "Crystal, Carry! Over here!" He called out next to him.

No shit Sherlock." She called out.

Feeling eyes all over us, the next thing he said made me chuckle because his response was golden. "What? Sorry, I didn't hear you. Can you come a little closer because my voice over is talking over you."

"That's my friend." I said out loud more to myself while I shook my head.

"Bullshit you can't hear me Lucio, but nice try." She said as we approached the line.

Stepping closer to her, he said, "well, looks like you can't hear me after all. Because if you could, you would have been right next to me." He flirted.

Listening to them because you didn't need to see to know that by placing his hand on her cheeks then sensing that she was blushing, when she told him, "Lucio, not here." In a whisper to tell me that they were very close.

Hearing a gentle kiss between both of them, I just barely hear Lucio say, "you're stiff, what's wrong? Stressed?"

"That's an overstatement of the year." She laid her head on his chest.

"I heard, but I know you can do it. Just show him who you are made of. It's neither winning nor losing. It's all in the experience. However," She was about to counteract and talk over him. "But today, you need to prove to yourself that you can win and beat him."

Lucio! Enough loving on your girlfriend! That behavior is not allowed during a tournament. If you're going to become a lieutenant, then start acting like one. Owen said getting into his face like a dick and though he wishes that he can sock him one, but unfortunately, he is correct and that he must start acting like a soldier. Luckily, boot camp doesn't start until he is out of school, which is two weeks from now, but again, he must let her go even though his heart tells him no.

Sensing his mood, Crystal says to him, "I love you, Lucio." Giving her a quick peck on her furry cheeks, he left us behind to catch up with Captain Jack who started giving him the lay of the ropes of the military lifestyle.

Turning around as I waited for the line to move, Crystal said to me with sincerity, "I'm sorry Carry for being... a bitch. I'm just..."

"Stressed out? No need to apologize to me. I figured that it was Timmy. Like listen, like Lucio said, you can do this. Don't give up on yourself or else you give up on everything that you are here for."

"Yes, you both are right. I'm just... I don't know. Do you think I was too hard on that Star girl?" she asked as the line started to move.

As she walked on the side of me, I said, maybe just a little bit, but she understands."

"Yeah, when I see her next time, I will apologize to her."

As we stepped outside from the white room into the breezy humid air, I felt raindrops falling all around me giving it an arrhythmic but peaceful sound and feel and as we continued marching on through the rain, I smelt the freshness of the air with the wind blowing through my brown straight hair. As I heard the flying cars overhead going through the dark grey clouds and making it back to the arena that Griselda brought me and Aislinn to three days ago, by the sounds of excited murmurs with those maybe seeing Garth for the first time or even just joining the tournament for the first time, but either way, by their sounds, they were ready to show what they had. Although I was, I was still scared of making a fool of myself then being restricted from my account because of Mr. Matters since I am currently using my students account which, will change after I graduate, however; because of being restricted, I could not train like I wanted to.
