The weather on the base was violent. Winds that shook the military vehicles in the parking lot to the point you worried they would tip over. Rain that flooded the parking lots and trapped you inside the building where Colonel König held a briefing just an hour ago. Everyone except you had changed the weather and left but a fear of high winds had kept you inside. You thought you were alone in your mild state of panic but your Colonel had locked himself away in his office.

Sounds of the winds blowing against the building made your panic grow quickly. You never understood why you had such a horrible fear of the wind but you had since you were a child. Your parents always told you if you were scared to find a closet and you'd be safe in there. As an adult, you knew that was only a tactic to calm you down.

An alarm sounded. Tornado watch. "Fuck," you said to no one in particular. Your hands were in tight fists that shook as you tried to take a deep breath but steady air was out of your reach. Your chest felt like barbed wire. You tried to tell yourself to move but your feet stayed planted.

Tears flooded your face as the alarm deafened you. Footsteps broke through only for a moment and you were swept off your feet and into a pair of arms. Your eyes were glued to the window that showed the fierceness of the storm outside until a voice made your trance shatter.

"C'mon, we need to get somewhere safer." König said calmly as he carried you out of the briefing room. He managed to open the door and hold you steadily as he did. He walked you both into a smaller room that was on the inside of the building, you assumed the one he deemed the safest.

Your breathing was still chaotic. "Calm down, Maus." he soothed. It offered slight comfort but a window shattering in the next room quickly ripped that away. You flinched violently, "I can't do this." you said with a panic. Breaths became fewer yet harsher. It felt hot yet you shook so forcibly your vision began to go double. "Yes, you can." he sat down on a small couch and put you in front of him between his legs. He held you tightly. The constriction felt relieving until another window shattered. You shrieked and jumped at the sound.

You and König had always flirted. Truthfully he was the only one you ever talked to. Everyone else seemed fine but you took a liking to him quickly as he did you. He always made sure to sit and stand next to you no matter where you were whether it was on a mission or just during lunch. He made you laugh, blush and feel things you hadn't before coming to KorTac 3 years ago.

Things never escalated because he was your Colonel and you were a few ranks below him. He didn't care but you didn't want him to get in trouble. He had tried time and time again to make you his but you always protested even though it hurt too. Mentally, emotionally and physically hurt.

"You have to breathe," König offered but it went unheard as the violence of the storm was all you heard. You felt hands on your upper arms and you were pulled into his chest. "Follow my movements." he said in your ear. You nodded shakily, trying to keep focus on him but it was difficult. "I won't let anything happen to you." he said in your ear a few times before you felt satisfying air reach your lungs.

Fear still mostly consumed you but not enough you didn't notice the hand on your chest. König had placed it there to help steady your breathing more. "It's almost over." he assured. You nodded absentmindedly, somewhat believing him. "Good girl, keep breathing." he removed his hands from you and wrapped them around you. "You're doing good." König said again. The lights flickered and you panicked again, jumping almost out of his embrace. He shushed you and put you against his chest again. "T-The l-lights." you said with a trembling lip. Without a second thought, he pulled his sniper hood over your head, "hiding" you away from the storm.

You laughed for a quick second before trying to catch your breath. "König, I can't see." you said through a shaky voice. "That's the point, Liebling." he said as he rested his chin against your head. He tightened his embrace. His sniper hood hid you both away from the world, something that didn't happen often but it was just you two in this building for now.

Eventually, the power was out but the wind grew quieter. You slowly removed König's sniper hood from your face. "Is it over?" you asked quietly. "It's passed so it's just raining now," he said as he pulled the hood completely off of you. You sucked in a quiet breath. You felt exhausted, your limbs ached subtly just as they did every time you had a panic attack.

"I'm gonna go," you tried to stand but König kept you in front of him. "No, it's raining too heavily. It may flood on your way home. Stay a bit longer." His voice was soft, gentle. His hands wrapped around your biceps so easily. It would've been a little unsettling if he wasn't so placid with his touch. You only nodded, trying to focus on anything but the weather or the storm that formed in your chest.

You felt König sit back slightly and he took you with him. You laid against him, feeling both relaxed yet worried of being caught at any moment. As if he read your mind, he said, "No one else is here and those camera's haven't worked in months." his hands gently grazed over your arms, sending a blaze over your skin. "König," you tried to protest in fear of him getting in trouble but his hands moved. One arm wrapped around your waist while his other hand wrapped your throat loosely.

"I can't hide this for much longer, Maus." he whispered. His tone bothered and slightly shaken. Before you could answer, a thud sounded from the ground in front of you. When you glanced down you saw his helmet. You felt a gentle breath on the skin under your ear before a set of lips were pressed against it. A sharp breath entered your lungs and your back arched subtly. "König," you whispered. His hand squeezed your throat, "I need this as much as you do."

Like butter on the stove, you melted into him. He was right. You did need him as much as he seemed to need you. Any logical thought fluttered out of your mind and only focused on him. He pulled you into him, a bulge in your back made your thigh squeeze together. His hand pulled at your shirt and moved under it, the harshness of his gloves against your skin was a match against phosphorus.

"You think the look in your eyes when you stare at me goes unnoticed? Or the way you flip your pretty hair to get my attention doesn't put the thought of bending you over where you stand in my mind? Or the perfume you make sure consumes my senses each and every day goes ignored? The way you're so obedient for just me."

You heard an impatient noise sound in your ear and without warning, König grabbed you by the waist and you were on the couch on all fours with König behind you.

Patience be damned, you fumbled with your belt until König took over and nearly ripped it and your pants off. One hand dug into your hip while he positioned himself outside of you. He seemed to hesitate before pushing himself in slowly and carefully. A low hiss vibrated in his throat before his movements turned harsh. Pain surged through you only for a moment until felicity took over. You felt too many sensations to make a sound.

Your nape pricked when you felt a tug on your hair. Lightning surged from your neck through your entire body until it settled between your thighs. Pooling until eruption, you released around him. Feeling you tighten made his movements harsher and deeper as his fingers dug into you.

"Fuck," he said as you felt him twitch inside you. He slowed his hips, staying as deep as he could go only for a moment before pulling out of you.

You collapsed on the couch, breathing chaotic and shattered. König picked you up immediately and set you on his lap, brushing your messy hair from your face. "You took me so well, Liebling." he praised quietly. You felt euphoric. "My sweet little secret." he kissed you gently. His little secret. Hidden away from everyone else. But you didn't care at all.
