When have I ever been able to think around Roman, though? A rush of adrenaline grabs hold of me, daring me to do the thing I've wanted to do since the first time meeting him. A confident woman, who cares little to none about the consequences that could possibly follow such a reckless action.
Without another thought, my feet are closing the distance between our bodies, sending me directly into his strong arms. Based solely on instincts and desires, I throw my arms around his neck to draw him in closer until my lips are pressed to his and the rest of the world has faded away into nothing. A sense of relief washes over me, lifting and tossing away that weight that has weighed heavily on my heart since the first day of meeting him. Growling, he wraps his arms around my weight tighter, pressing my body firmly against his. My toes are barely brushing the ground now due to his strong hold of me. Between his growls and my moans, it sounds like we are consuming each other in our entirety. There's nothing, no one else that matters, more than this moment. Hands tug at hair, moans become louder, my feet leave the ground and are suddenly wrapped around his waist. Months have passed, slowly building to this moment. A moment that I wouldn't change for all the money in the world. Finally, I gasp for air as his lips wander to my neck, kissing and sucking at the sensitive skin. No words are shared between us, but the common knowledge that he is doing everything in his power to mark me as his. "Roman." I moan. He shutters beneath his name. His fingers dig into my pale skin, demanding more and more of my body to claim. My back digs deeper into the wood of the tree as he presses himself against me, licking and nibbling at my ear for more. I arch my back in response, a pleasured giggle leaving my lips. Everything tingled. From the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Tugging at his shirt, I try to find a way to lift it from his body to find the chest that I grew so fond of. Suddenly, a twig snaps in the distance, dragging us both back to reality.
We stare at each other like we're seeing eachother for the first time. Who were those people? Who are these people? Blushing, we both laugh as he lowers me to the ground. My legs are a little shaky at first, but after a second of seconds, i'm back to myself.
"We should get back to the airbnb." He states matter of factly, clearly eager to return to somewhere with a door and a bed.
"Okay." I whisper. This is it. A new beginning. One where we kiss and touch, without fearing if the other person feels the same way. There's no questions or uncertainties anymore. Just us.
Short chapter, but a little sneak peak into what's next
