Battling Hearts and High Scores: A Teenage RomCom is the first book in my four-part series, Future in Focus. This story is especially close to my heart because it reflects my own experiences—graduating high school this year, navigating change, and facing the uncertainty of what comes next. Three years ago, I fell in love with books, and as a reader, I'm now excited to share my own story, written from a place of genuine perspective.
Reading has always been a constant in my life, whether I was overwhelmed with worries or filled with joy. It's been my escape and inspiration, and now, through the Future in Focus series, I hope to capture the unique transition from teenage years to adulthood. I hope this young adult/new adult series resonates with you, wherever you are in life.
I also hope you connect with Sage, Shalom, and the entire crew, as each of the main characters will have their own stories to tell in the future books.
