That was such an ecstatic day for him.
He felt happy, rejoiced, and contended by the happening of today. He never got this sense of being complete. Before this, his life was just going on a thin track. It wasn't the case that he didn't enjoy it. He loved his work, he loved his family, and he loved everything he had. But he realized something was missing around him ever since he met her. Like the puzzle, his life had just one block missing, and this missing piece was definitely Andaleeb.
Like a radiant ray of sunshine, she illuminated his life and now he wished to see this light surrounding him all the time.
When she was made to appear in the alter to make her stand opposite him, Masab was once again stunned seeing her beauty. His heart filled with puffs of happiness upon the realization of the fact that she was finally going to become his.
"About time. Finally, my eyes saw this spectacular sight of you standing here as my bride," he muttered slightly, not forgetting to pass smiles at the guests.
Her eyes turned cold as she stared at him. Her beautiful red lips curled up in a smirk. "The bride can pull a trigger at you on the wedding night too. So beware of that."
He chuckled freely and tugged on her waist with his palm, making a tingling sensation to run in her veins. "You should know now that I am not afraid of death. I will accept any kind of trigger you throw at me. But the thing is that I just want to see you as mine; aching for me, taking my name on your every breath and forgetting everyone else for me."
She shoot him with a stern look. "Don't forget that I can play now without any second thought. I have no one to feel worried about, no place to go back, and no one who could care for me. You did a good thing by showing me the true faces of my family because it removed my vulnerability. Now expect any kind of harsh blow from me because I now only want to ruin the damn you and your family."
He blinked in understanding. "I know, Andaleeb, that when you have no fear of losing, you become lethal. And I want to see you becoming lethal because that makes you, you."
"Don't underestimate me. Something in me tells me that your doom will be brought by me," she whispered.
Masab smiled. "Oh, I won't, sweetheart. I want to see you trying to bring my doom. But I have just one condition and that is you becoming only mine."
The way he said it made her heart flutter. Andaleeb was amazed at how, in such a dignified and respectful way he used to confess his love always. That made her feel special. As though she was important, adored, ed and did not seem a burden or stigma to anyone. She never felt this by Aurang's love too which she would hate to admit, but was a bit coward. That was ironic because this same man kidnapped her and held her captive for a month, but he spoke no bad words for her. Masab took his love or obsession, whatever it was so high in his life which she would again hate to admit, but it made her feel better and proud.
