" Shifa "
"Is-" Eijaz exhales deeply, "Is baar nahi" He manages to utter these words, his voice trembling amidst the chaos.
( Trans:- No- Not this time )
"Sh- Shifa, where are you?"
He cries out, his voice raw with desperation as he scans the bridge and surrounding, but she is nowhere to be found.
"Please," he pleads, lifting his gaze in hope, rushing towards the riverbank, his heart racing wildly against his ribs.
"Shifa!" he shouts again, the sound consumed by the relentless flow of the river below.
Suddenly, a tall, unfamiliar figure approaches him, cradling unconscious Shifa in his arms.
"Wait… S h i f a-" Relief floods through Eijaz, so overwhelming it nearly buckles his knees. He sprints towards them, breath hitching in his chest, but a wave of thoughts crashes over him, igniting a surge of unrestrained rage within. Without a second thought, he lunges forward, his eyes blazing with a fierce fury.
In an instant, he reaches the man, his fist tightening. "PUT HER DOWN!" He commands, the authority in his voice startling even himself.
"Who are you?" the man begins, but Eijaz cuts him off. He takes Shifa away, cradling her gently in his own arms and sets her down near a large, moss-covered rock.
His movements careful and tender, a stark contrast to the boiling anger still simmering within.
Tilting his head back, he glares at the stranger, who now approaches them, saying, "Get away, mister"
Eijaz growls at the remark, shoving the man back.
"Who the hell you are ?" the man snaps, his gaze flickering to Shifa, his expression softening for a brief moment. He kneels as if to lift her, but before he can, Eijaz seizes his neck from behind, holding him up roughly until their faces are mere inches apart.
