Y/n woke up slowly, momentarily disoriented before the memories of their recent trip and Wilbur's warm presence came rushing back. As their eyes fluttered open, they found Wilbur gazing at them with a soft, affectionate smile.
"Aww, hello, my darling. Are you awake now?" Wilbur's voice was gentle as he pulled them closer. Y/n's cheeks flushed a deep pink, and they instinctively buried their face in their hands.
"Don't hide from me, love," Wilbur cooed, carefully taking their hands away from their face. "I want to see that pretty face of yours."
"It's just... embarrassing," Y/n mumbled, glancing at him with a bashful smile. The pink tint of their blush only added to their radiant appearance.
"Aww, are you always this flustered around me?" Wilbur's eyes sparkled with amusement, his grin widening.
"Don't start with that, you wanker," Y/n teased, playfully swatting at him.
Wilbur gasped in mock outrage. "I am not a bloody wanker, you fool. I'm your boyfriend!"
Y/n chuckled, "Aww, I'm sorry, don't get all dramatic on me. I think it's time we post, don't you think?"
"No," Wilbur said, shaking his head with a smile. "Five more minutes of cuddling, and then I'll consider it."
He nestled Y/n's head into the crook of his neck, his arm wrapped protectively around their waist. Y/n sighed contentedly, kissing his neck softly.
"Fine, only because I enjoy this too," they murmured, their lips brushing against his skin.
A few minutes passed in a comfortable silence, the warmth and closeness enveloping them. This, Y/n thought, was what love should always be.
