All memories should be put away for her anyway, as classes were just restarting, the final stretch before graduation, as one would argue.

There were just final touches to her end of degree assignment left, something she had been working on for the entire year, which, for her, was the design of a whole media project, ranging from a website, social media, and, of course, graphics.

She made sure to add any racing component to the whole theme, in some subtle ways to her brand. That was her defining touch, her essence in some ways.

After she got out of bed, she dressed up, packing everything in her bag, before going out of the house. Then, she took the metro to class, like she always did, before meeting at the door with her friend, Justine.

Unlike her, she wasn't Spanish, rather she came from the southern coast of France, right the same year Janice first started there. Despite that year being difficult for the latter, they bonded right away.

— Heyyy what's up!! -Janice said, with a wide smile in her face-

Justine was her best friend in university, which after finding out she had been following motorsports for a long time, they got even more close.

— You have to tell me everything about the race! -the French said-

That was, at least, until the bell rang, taking them to their own classes. They had different courses, all in the same building, so lunch breaks were spent together.

After classes, Janice only needed to wait for her friend. She was from the few outside her home that knew about her "condition" if that would be even possible to call it that way. Still, she remained reluctant to talk about herself before university.

Along all the years, her trust became brittle, the fear of anything remotely close happening again twisted her guts to the point she always kept her feelings inside.

— Let's go? - She said as her friend appear from behind the glass door, to which she nodded-

Outside of the university building, the restaurant in front was the chosen place for most students, as much as it was both trendy but still affordable for people like us, wanting to get a bite, without breaking the bank.

Also, we had tons of stuff that needed to be talked about. Perhaps she didn't need to tell her right there that she had mingled around a driver, let alone say they actually kissed.

They picked one of the first places they saw, right by the window, giving a sight right to the center of the city, making it all aesthetically pleasing.

— So, how was it?? -the blonde girl asked-

— I managed to get a picture with almost all the drivers, so very good actually!

— That's so cool! Talk about making dreams come true

— Go figure how their faces looked when I gave them the illustrations I took there

— Nah, someone must have gotten an eye on you, hoping for you to be the next Wag hey?

— Nah, that's impossible, they must have some super-model type girlfriend for sure

— But at least someone has to be single -the blonde argued-

But before the brunette could even say anything, her own phone started ringing, but not with a call, but rather hundreds of notifications all at once that flooded the home screen, making her ears ring with all the beeping sound.

In hopes to stop the sound, as she picked up her phone, a shocked face was plastered on her face, seeing the aftermath of all the beeping.
