011 | Game On

Tuesday, 09.17.24

It's been a little over a week since we got back from the international break, the team and staff were now focused on the Champions League, which for us was in 2 days against Monaco

Me being one of the physiotherapist, I got called up to travel with the team

I was exited to go, I've always wanted to witness the Champions League behind the scenes so it was an honour to be apart of the travelling team

Unfortunately, Pablo wouldn't be joining us which made me a bit sad, I know how passionate he is when it comes to the champions league, but it was only the first game of the ucl, there's plenty more opportunities for him to travel with us

Something did make me happy this week though, Pablo finally joined the team for training

Yeah he's been training at the same time as the team already before, but before it would only be at the same time and on the same field but he had his own set of training to help him heal better, but now that he's progressed in his healing process, he gets to train with the team, officially. I was happy for Pablo, I mean almost a year without playing probably sucks, especially since he dedicates his whole life to playing football, I can tell he's itching to comeback

As for my situation with the two players,
I think Ferran was just going through it, he took the time to understand that it's not that big of a deal, he's no longer ignoring me, Pedri on the other hand, he's too confusing, I will say that my hatred from him has decreased which is good for him, not saying I'm cool with him now, I do still hate him, maybe just not as much as before, he's been a little distant, he still talks to me when he hangs out with Pablo but other than that, there's not much going on between us

As training was wrapping up, the players were walking back to the locker rooms to freshen up

I waited for Pablo so we could both go back home, he was busy talking with Frankie, who has also just joined the team training again

After a bit, he finally finished, we both got our stuff and headed back home

"Sooo how's training with the team again going?" I asked Pablo

"Pretty good actually, happy to be back, and I can't wait to play again, it's been far too long" he laughed

I told you, Pablo's desperate to come back

He spoke more about the training session until we got home and he showered

I waited for him in the living room so we could eat together, in the meantime, I went on my phone

PEDRI POV

I finished my shower at the training ground, I didn't feel like going home and then showering, too much work

As I walked back to the locker room, i stumbled across Ferran

Things between us is a bit awkward I'd say
Not sure if it was because of Julia or not but the energy was definitely off

"You exited for the champions league?" I politely asked

"Super, hopefully we clap back at Monaco for what happened for the gamper trophy" he laughed
