It's been a week since the race, and it was now Sunday again. Since Conrad was back in town from visiting his family we're all going to meet at his house to watch the race today since apparently there isn't always a break between the races.

Connie is apparently a Ferrari fan which is kinda funny if you think about it.

To get Lina mad, after the race I ordered a Mercedes cap and a random Mercedes shirt I got from I got from Amazon.

I put on my accesories and got an uber and to make my way over to Connie's apartment, some wine at hand so we could share a few cups after not hanging out all together in weeks.

"Hello, hello!" I say, walking through his unlocked door.

"Hey Bee, its been so long!" Conrad replied, brining me into a tight hug.

"I know, I missed you." I tell him, earning a smile from him. "I brought wine."

"Thank God, I cannot stand a Mercedes fan and a Redbull fan while sober." he jokes, taking the wine and leading us to the kitchen to pour us some glasses.

Lina was already here, eating up some of the dip Connie had prepared for us. I quickly said hi and sat beside her, waiting for the race to begin. She gave me an ugly look, upset about my outfit, and rolled her eyes. I laughed at her and jokingly pushed her aside.

After I heard the infamous words, lights out and away we go! I got myself ready for the hectic race ahead, turning off my phone and giving the television all my attention.

Today's race was in silverstone, here in England, which apparently meant all the drivers would be in town.

In the top three stood Max Verstappen again, but then behind followed Lando Norris, and Oscar Piastri.

I looked a little more into the names and realised that they were all the same as the guys in the groupchat.

I quickly texted a joking message about how'd it would be funny if they were actually the drivers and once again turned off my phone to pay attention.

I had actually watched qualifying yesterday so I would be a little more caught up today and researched the sport more so I could understand everything that was going on and being said.

I realised how right I was to decide to be a Mercedes fan and especially a Lewis Hamilton fan, aka the greatest driver of all time.

The race was intense with three DNF's, and an outstanding podium from Sir Lewis Hamilton himself, which just meant I had to gloat about it in the groupchat.
