After my shower, I quickly fixed up my hair before deciding what I was gonna wear. I looked through my suitcase, searching for an outfit that fit with today's vibe.
I picked out a pink body suit and some low-rise jeans to match my pink sambas. I quickly put in on, knowing that Lina was probably already ready and waiting for me. I quickly picked up my purse, picking in my necessities, and then left the room and made my way to the living room where she was waiting with Max and Lando.
"Hey guys, Lin you ready?" I say, walking over to stand beside Lando, who wrapped his arms around the back of my legs, bringing me closer.
"Yea, I was just waiting for you, let's go." she answers, standing up.
We say goodbye to the boys, promising to make an appearance later and leave. Max let us borrow his car, so we quickly got in, me connecting to the aux while Lin drives.
"Isa, that boy really likes you, it's insane." she tells me, making a turn into the parking lot of the shopping mall.
"I know, and I really like him too Lina, he's so perfect and I don't think I've ever felt more loved." I tell her, groaning as I put my hands on my face.
"Then why are you making him wait?"
"Because I can't treat him how he needs to be treated right now. I know I can be a good girlfriend and give him everything he needs but right now isn't that time. What Chris did to me was horrible, and it still affects me to this day, and I know that if I get into a proper relationship with Lando soon, I'm gonna mess everything up and push him away." I explain.
"Then I think it's good that you're waiting. As long as you know what you want and you're 100% sure of your actions."
"I am. From now to November, I'm gonna work on my trust issues and my commitment issues to be nothing but perfect for him because I know he deserves nothing less, and I want to be that person for him."
"Gosh Isa, you're gonna make me emotional, I didn't know you cared that much about him." she says, unlocking the car doors as she finally finished parking, and we get out of the car.
"I just wish I could do this with Ale and Mate alongside me, but they keep pushing me away and trying to control my every move." I explain. "It's so tiring. My entire life they controlled my almost every move, and protected me from everything bad in the world, and I'll forever be grateful to them, but I don't understand how they ignored how Chris treated me, it doesn't make sense."
