"I'm boarding the jet now heading back to the States. Did you call his emergency back up contact?" Nicki rubbed her template as she boarded the private jet.
"We did but we didn't receive an answer Miss Maraj, but if he doesn't calm down eventually we'll have to send him to the hospital." The woman from the other end of the phone spoke.
"I don't understand if he's on the highest dosage of Clozapine why does he keep having episodes so frequently."
"Ma'am his medication dosage changed 2 months ago, he isn't on the highest dosage anymore."
"What do you mean his dosage changed?" Nicki stopped in her tracks.
"Well his weight dropped a bit and the Dr here instructed to lower his dosage."
"Why was I not notified? Anything regarding his medication is always mentioned to me." Nicki grew frustrated.
"There could be multiple reasons why it wasn't mentioned from legal reasons down to someone simply forgetting to update his chart." The woman explained.
"Well legal reasons would not affect me considering I'm his power of attorney and as for someone forgetting to update his chart that isn't simple. I want his dosage back to what it originally was."
"Ma'am unfortunately we can't change his dosage ourselves without it being signed off from his doctor or you."
"Can I e-sign it." Nicki sighed knowing her father's Dr was on vacation.
"It has to be done in person." The woman said empathetically.
"This shit is absurd! I'm paying over $7,000 a month and you mean to tell me you can't give him his medicine? What the hell am I paying for?!"
"Miss Maraj I understand your frustration but there is absolutely nothing I can do from my end... if we don't get it signed off we can't give him the dosage and if he doesn't calm down within the next hour they're sending him to the hospital."
"Unbelievable... I need confirmation as to why I wasn't notified about his medication because if someone forgot to update his chart that someone is getting fired."
"Yes ma'am I'll make note to figure out what happened and mark the status as urgent." The woman replied
"Thank you for your time." Nicki hung up the phone.
