"The most time I can give you is 48 hours. I've exhausted all the help I can give without getting in trouble myself." The lady at desk said sympathetic.
"I understand thank you for all the help you've given me so far." Beyoncé nodded her head with a smile trying her best to hold back her tears.
"I'm sorry I can't do anything more sweetie." She replied before gently placing her hand on the younger woman's to further express her sympathy.
Beyoncé thanked her once more before leaving the office. Her eyes stung as a few tears slipped away while she walked to her friend's car. She quickly wiped her face before opening the door to Ze's car.
"So how did it go did they give you another extension?" Ze asked in a cheerful tone.
"Yeah... 48 hours to make a partial payment." Beyoncé slumped in the seat while putting her seatbelt on.
"Damn only 48 hours? Well I mean I don't much in it but I can dip into my savings first you."
"Ze I can't and I won't take your money." Beyoncé shook her head and instantly shut down the idea.
"I'm so glad you said that cause it's only like $100 in there it was $112 but I had to transfer funds for a chipotle bowl earlier." Ze blew out a breath of relief while Beyoncé doubled over laughing at her friend's goofiness.
She needed that laugh more than she realized.
"Do you want me to call the coordinator and ask if you could help out at this event tonight? It won't be as big as the last ball but there are still going to be some big tippers." Ze asked once both their laughter died down.
"You'd do that?"
"Of course. You know you're my girl bey." Ze said before pulling her cellphone out.
A few minutes later Beyoncé had a job for the night. The girls stopped at Ze's dorm room before heading to Beyoncé's place to stay until they had to leave again.
"You know your girl might be there." Ze smirked while putting her seat belt on.
"Ze I don't have a girl what are you talking about." Beyoncé rolled her eyes.
"You do I seen the way she was looking at you the night of the ball and don't get me started on girls night." Ze started her car and pulled off.
