"Ai' Fourth! Get back here!!" The students yelled as he chasing me down the alley. He is Kim, my classmate. He always hit me when I didn't give answers during exams, only now I had the guts to run despite his friends beating me up many times.
When I turned to the other side of alley, I bumped into a man who was walking, "Help me, please!" I beg. I was anxious because I could hear their voices as a signal that they were close.
Suddenly, he pulled me into a dark and crowded alley. I caught off guard. I hid my face in the coat of his uniform, but, suddenly, he pinned my back to the wall and brought his face closer to me little by little. I was about to push him a little because his face was so close and he whispered, "If you want to help me... Don't move."
He turned to the way where those chasing me would pass. And, as the groups of bullies passed by, he suddenly kissed me on the lips. My eyes widened, and my mind went blank with what the stranger did.
"Which way did he go?" I heard the disappointed voice of one of those chasing me. Jew's voice.
"If I failed my grades this year... You're dead to me Fourth!" One of them whispered, full of annoyance. Taey's voice.
"Maybe this is where he passed by. Let's go!" Kim shouted. I heard their footsteps running in the other direction of the alley.
I immediately pushed the stranger who stole my first kiss and accidentally punched me, "Pervert!" I shouted as I wiped my lips.
"You're the one who asked for my help, and you're still angry! What a thick-faced." He complained, "Instead of be thankful, you still mange to curse me!!"
"Thank you." I said, "But, you don't have to kiss me."
"No apologies?"
"Sorry." I hushed, not being able to stare in shame.
"If you don't mind... Why are you being chased? What are you in arrears with them?" He asked me.
"It's almost our 1st semester..." I couldn't finish what I was saying when I noticed the logo on his uniform coat, "Wait... You study at East Valle National University?"
"Yes, why?" He answered.
"I'm from Saint Houston and... After our school semester. East Valle is where I plan to move. Is it good to go there?" I asked him, "Aren't those grades being bought?"
"What do you mean buying?"
"I mean... The one who doesn't force you to go on the field trip to make sure you pass. The one where the parents don't pay the principal just to be sure that their children will be placed in the ranking. The one who gives a large amount to the teacher just to pass the whole semester... You know..." I asked awkwardly, "We both know that school is expensive and high class..."
His arms crossed over his chest and stares at me with poker facr, "I'm the son of that school principal."
"Huh?" I breathe. My knees shivered and almost out of blanace. I looked away and scratched my head in shame, simultaneously. "Ahm..." I was thinking how to change the conversation and lessen the awkwardness, "I-I... I-I'll go ahead. T-Thank you for helping me."
"Hey, stranger." He called me when I was about to leave, and I turned around, "When you meet men wearing tuxedos, lead them astray. Don't point the way here."
"Why?"
"They were my driver. I didn't want to go to school so I ran after them." He answered and ran away. In a few seconds, before I had left where I was standing, men in tuxedos passed by.
