Lunch break. I was walking on campus with Markcris carrying the food we bought at the cafeteria when I saw Gemini in the distance playing basketball with his friends and there were groups of students cheering him on.

My fake boyfriend is indeed a campus heartthrob.

"That's why no one bothers you." He whispers to me. For some inexplicable reason why I could only see him in my eyes, I didn't realize that we were heading to the basketball court.

He's good at playing. I was standing on the sidelines and watching his game with Markcris. I was clueless. As soon as he saw me, he ran to me while in the middle of the game. I don't know what to do. A lot of people are watching. People around me broke into tears and screams, after he took the bottle of water I was holding and drank it. I left dazzling. My whole body stiffened and mind floated, as soon as I saw his neck wet with sweat, in addition, his Adam's apple was still moving, swallowing water.

"Have you eaten yet?" He asked me, "Let's eat together. My treat, babe."

"Babe?" The eyes of the girl next to us widened after she heard what Gemini said, "Did I hear you right? You called him babe?" He asked Gemini reassuringly, for that reason he couldn't imagine that he had just been misheard.

"No—" I denied it,

But his voice was even more dominant, "Yes." He replied that the woman was dumbfounded and unable to speak. He held my hand and intertwined our fingers to show the group of student girls.

I immediately let go of his grip and stood by my answer, "No, that's not what you're thinking. He's just joking, right?" I asked him, "We're just... We're just classmates, and he's just mocking me. That's all." My explanation is clear. I faced Gemini and smiled fakely at him to act normal, "You're really good at teasing." I secretly stepped on his foot and grinned with effort, "Let's go to the room first. The bell will ring soon." I grabbed Markcris' arms and started running towards the building. I didn't wait for him to answer, instead I avoided the stares of the students around me.

"WHAT?! 30 DAYS!!" My friend shouted that echoed in the four corners of the classroom. Let me explain from the beginning, while our classmates are still in the cafeteria.

"Lower your voice... Maybe someone can hear you."

"You agree?" He asked me as he sat in the chair again.

"What should I do? He won't stop me if I persist. You already told me yourself, didn't you? That I agreed to whatever he offered?"

"But, you didn't say it was that kind of offer." His reasoning.

"Let it go... it's only 30 days. The day just goes by so fast." I ignored it and let it go, "I'm just his contract lover... Fake boyfriend... Or Secret In a relationship... That's all."

"Can't you fall?" It is assured.

"Of course not!" I defended and the tone of my voice rose, "That's our number one rule."

"Just be sure." His eyes furrowed at me, as if there were still threats.

"Definitely-definitely." I marked my word.

Until one day, the day I dreaded came. The class agreed temporarily when a guidance counselor entered and said, "Is Mr. Fourth Nattawat here?"

"Mr. Nattawat." Our subject professor called me.

I got up from the chair, "Khap?"

"Sir, May I excuse your student? Mrs. Principal is calling him to the office today and now." The couselor asked, which our professor immediately agreed to. I glanced behind where Gemini was sitting and he was also staring at me as if he was nervous, it seemed that he had no idea about this either.
