Chapter 2

Cataleya Cassandra Hepburn

"You are mates?!" James and Jonathan, his beta, shouted. They looked at each other and growled. "Stop" I ordered James through the mindlinked. "Whatever" and he blocked me. "Yes we are" Zach and I both said again and I growled annoyed with this fake twin telepathic thing. He smirked amusement clear in his eyes but he masked it. "You and I need to talk" I spoke calmy and void with emotions considering eveyone is listening and I don't want to appear weak in front of his pack members. He nodded and followed me. I led him to my study which is sound proof.

I walked towards my desk and sat on my chair. I gestured him to sit down. He looks annoyed considering I am ordering him. I smiled mentally. "Cataleya Cassandra Hepburn" the way he said my full name made me weak and my body filled with desire. His voice is deep and husky. "The one whom I supposed to hate. Especially you are my equal. Is my mate. Let's have a deal" he said calmly. I nodded. "Considering we can't stop this bond, you have to hand your pack and your teritory in my hands and let me lead." I growled and He smirked. "No" he stood up. I raised my eyebrows and look at him. "I. Will. Lead." He walked to me while speaking. I remained calm. "I will lead considering my pack is bigger than yours and I am stronger" I said with no emotiong showing him that I am not backing off and let him lead my pack. "Your pack is no-" I raised my arms to stopped him. We both growled. His and My eyes turned black. Which means we are both angry right now. "I will lead" his voice deeper with anger. "No" I growled. Considering we are the most powerful alpha we can't back down no matter what. "I won't let my beta and gamma back off. And I wont back off" I said clearly angry. "And I won't let them too" his voice laced with anger. By now our eyes are gold. Considering we are really both angry. As I said we are powerful which means we really are short tempered than an alpha is.

We both closed our eyes and calmed our wolves. When I opened my eyes I saw him eyeing my body and my face. "Like what you see?" I smirked. "Very. Considering you were checking me out outside and you're my mate. It's fair enough" and now he smirked. I glared at him. This will take time. "Let's just lead and don't mix our pack. It's better like that. We need to get used to this" I gestured him and me. "Right. But you will stay with me" he smirked. Okay, he is annoying me. I want to swipe that smirk off. "No, I am staying here" showing him that I am not going to give up. "I will Build a house at the boundary of our packs and we will live there. Together" he spoke. I nodded. This is great. Civil talking. But I am not letting him that easily. I don't want a replay of my past. "Let's go out" I spoke coldly. He was shocked at my voice but nodded and remained emotionless.

We walked towards our pack and stood in the middle. "Since we are mates. We need to agree with this considering no one can stop this." I spoke with authority. Everyone nodded. James spoke "If you are letting him takes us my answer is no" he spoke coldly. I understand him. I nodded. "We are not joining packs. We are not agreeing in mixing our packs ever. We will remain as alphas of both packs but we will treat each other fairly and like a family. No hatred. We will have two packs considering we can't let our betas and gammas back off." I spoke and everyone nodded. I could see my pack members staring at me with pride. While his pack stared at me in awe. I smirked. "But, we will live together at the border of our packs and it is fair because the house of the gammas and betas are nea. And because we won't mix our packs." He spoke with authority too. To be honest I am proud of him. But I kept my face emotionless. I can't let him see any emotions. He must earn my trust.

He faced me which brought me to reality. "I will see you soon after the house is done" he was about to do something but stopped. It hurts. But I didn't let him know it. I nodded and watch him go to his pack. "Move!" He shouted and everyone shifted and started moving. He shifted which shocked me. He has midnight black fur and gold eyes with silver specks in them. He is big as me. He took a glance at me and started running.

James and Jake run to me. "Move!" James shouted and my pack members also moved. When everyone is out, James and Jake flooded me with questions.

"Did you see his wolf?"
"You guys have the same wolf!"
"What happened?"
"Are you okay?"

I raised my arms telling them to shut up. And they did. "Yes I saw his wolf, and yes we have the same wolf. Nothing happened we just spoke and made a deal. And yes I am okay. So if you're going to ask if I am backing off and hand him my title and my territory my answer is no. I won't let him have my title bacause its mine and I won't hand my territory and pack members because it's mine too. And I won't sacrifice your positions just to be replaced by his beta and gamma" I sighed. The two of them tackeld me in a bear hug. We might be cold but we've got each other's back. We treat each other as sibling considering these two are the only child and our parents died in a pack attack before. And no one has stopped us ever since. And if you thinks it's impossible that my parents were killed considering I am powerful that's not true. My mom and dad are both alphas too but they are each other's weakness which lead them into a problem. And they are not powerful as me. Shaking my head I laughed and hugged them both. "Jake, call my brother and meet me at my house. James, collect everything that you can about him and his pack" I oredered them.

It's already dark and I am at my study room. There was a knock at my door and I opened it. There stood my brother. Blake, I know his name is like his name. He is older than me. If you're thinking that he should be alpha then yes you are right. But he is an alpha, his pack is the cresent moon pack. He isn't as powerful as me. But he is still my brother. It is only fair that my grandparents gave him their pack which has 600 pack members. And If you're thinking that we fought before yes. We started off as enemies. But we let it go and let our sibling bond get stronger and be like those sibling who loves each other. And one more thing. He might be older, but he is my twin.
