The beginning

"Come on sis! You won't catch me!" Laughing a boy ran across a green meadow. I smiled an ran after him. "Oh yes I will catch you!" The boy was laughing while I was running after him. A beautiful blue sky was above us with some peacefull clouds. Everything was perfect. But it couldn't stay forever like that.

Suddenly the image shattered an I was kneeling in a burning building with the boy laying in my armes lifeless. Tears where falling down onto his face. There was already dried blood at the corner of his mouth. His lifeless eyes where wide open an looking at the red skies that arched above us. I heard people painfully screaming as they where getting attacked by monsters. The curse ... The Archons ... They would pay for what the did ... I will make sure that ... I get my revenge ... For him... For Khaenri'ah ... My home nation.

I woke up drenched in cold sweat. My breath was going fast and heavy. I touched my check as I felt something falling down them. I was crying. Quickly I wiped them away and got up. I didn't wanted to relive these horrible memories of that day. I grabbed my clothes and quickly got ready. I had to get moving to get to the ship to sneznaya. I head that the Cryo-archon was gattering the gnosis with help from her organisation. The fatui. The gnosis where just what I needed to fullfill my plan. As I was leaving the hotel i grabbed my polearm and put my mask on. I had to wear it because my Khaenri'ah eyes would just draw unnecessary attention. I headed to the harbour in liyue. A had made a little contract with some dealers. I had helped them with something and they would take me to sneznaya. Of course I had packed some warm clothes and thinks I would need in sneznaya. Like some positions for fighting. I heard that the fatuis had some stronger members. They were called the fatui harbingers. I was guessing that they were strong. Put I had to get the gnosis.I didn't have a choice. I had to get them. There wasn't any other way.

As I was walking through the harbour my attention was drawn to some fatui members that where talking to the dealers I was supposed to travel with. One particular caught my attention. It was a tall ginger with blue eyes. That seemed to be some sort of leader. With some quick steps I walked in there direction. The leader of the dealers spotted me and his face lit up with excitement as he waved in my direction. I waved back and began to walk quicker. As I reached them I heard the leader explain something to that ginger.
„That over there is our last passenger."I heard him say.
„hey, what's going on" I asked .
Nothing were just checking the boats that are leaving to sneznaya." The ginger answered while giving me a suspicious glare. A shiver went down my spine. That guy was powerfull. But I would probably beat him. I could sense some sort of abyssal power inside him. I just nodded and went down the plank that was leading to the boat. Luckily I wasn't stopped by anyone, so I just went straight to my cabin. As I closed the door behind me I breathed out heavily.

The cabin I was I was quite simple but at least it had a bed that looked quite comfortable. Quickly I threw myself onto the bed. Just do be careful I activated my magical lock on my mask. After that I took out a book about the fatui an what they do and began to read it.

After a while someone knocked on my door. Quickly I got up an opened the door. The leader of the dealers was standing before me.
„ Im just here to tell you that where gonna set the sailes now, if you wanna come up and watch you should do that now." He said still having a bright smile on his face.
„thanks",I answered , „i will come up now"
Quickly I grabbed my spear and walked up the stairs. An the deck there where crew members running around and getting everything ready to leave. I went up to the back of the boat and watched as we where leaving liyue harbour. It was already evening . So the sun was just setting behind the buildings. It was truly beautiful. Slowly the boat was getting farter a way. When I could see the harbour anymore I turned around to go to my cabin again. There was no going back now. I would get the gnosis. I would get my revenge.

Yippie omg I'm finally finished with this chapter.
This took me 2 hour or something.
But yeah I was listening to sad music while writing this so yeah this started pretty sad.
