A nightmare

Curiously I raised an eyebrow. „Hello can I help you in any way madame?", I politely asked. Signora began laughing and answered „no need to be this defensive, I was just wondering what a traveller was doing here in sneznaya during this season." „whats so special about this season", I asked. „well firstly we firstly we get a lot of snowstorms and secondly there is a special harbinger meeting. Most people are afraid of the harbingers. So what brings you to sneznaya?" She asked me looking a bit amused. „i have to take care of business here. Nothing special." I said while shrugging my shoulders. She laughed again and proceeded to sit down next to me. She ordered a drink for herself. After the waiter left she shifted her attention again to me (Sorry bad englisch). She looked at me an gave me a fake smile. „ So what kind of business do you have to solve Here in Sneznaya?" she asked me still with a fake smile plasterd on her lips. Fuck she was interrogating me. I looked around and then saw some fatui soldiers in the crowd keeping an eye on me. „ just have to fulfill a contract with some people." „So you're from Liyue?" she asked .„yes ", i said flinching a bit at that lie. But i couldn't tell a harbringer that i was from Khanria'h. Luckly she didn't see me flinching and just told me a few things about Sneznaya.

After a while signora seemed to lose interest so I excused myself and walked upstairs to my room. I felt the presence of someone following me.  Great just great. I just had been one day in sneznaya and already caught some unwanted attention. This was not good. Quickly I threw myself onto the bed. I was just so sleepy that I doze of right away.

Screams reached my ears. I was running trough my old town. People where transformed into monsters left and right of me. Tears where running down my face. Weird cubes were flying around and the red sky seemed to chrash down onto Khaenri'ah. Some archons where floating around in the sky and destroying something now and then. The ground was still breaking apart. And it was difficult jumping from one to another. Suddenly I heard a loud thund behind me. My eyes widened in fear as I saw a the anemo god land behind me. I looked at him with pure horror in my eyes and clenched my fist. Was I going to get killed? Murderd by the god of freedom?

Barbatos pov:

When he saw the fear in my eyes something inside the anemo archon broke. He was supposed to kill an innocent child that didn't do anything? Was this the right thing to do? He didn't know. It just broke his heart to see a child like that. But what else was he supposed to do? If Morax found out that he couldn't kill a child he was gonna be furious. But would he find out? He wouldn't kill that was for sure.

Y/n pov:

The god of freedom held his hand out and summoned a gust of wind that lifted me into the air. For a few seconds I was flying in the air. I let out a scream when a sharp pain in my head suddenly appeared. The pain was unbearable. I could see anything. After some time the pain disappeared just as quick as it came. When I finally could see something again I was in a small cave. Confused I looked around. Where was I? Why didn't he just kill me? Or was I actually dead? No I still felt some exhaustion from all the running.  Maybe I was dreaming?I wasn't quite sure. Some small orbs of white light were floating around me. A light light was shining from them and allowed me to take a look at my surroundings. I was sitting on a little stone table. I could see a few white pillars on the walls with some golden murals. You couldn't clearly see them because there barely was any light. Unsure of what to do I just sat there. I listened to my surroundings but I couldn't hear anything except my own breath. The adrenaline was slowly disappearing and the exhaustion of the last few hours of running got to me. slowly i closed my eyes and drived into a dreamless sleep.
