POV Ford
After I redid the bound from Bill onto the shack I let myself sack in exhausted into my chair.
The bound spell wasn't even the part that exhausted me, it's the whole situation with Bill.

I shouldn't have let my guard down last night.
Bill took advantage of it once and he would definitely do it again. He probably just waits for the right moment to take his revenge on us for stopping him from destroying the world.

But I still feel bad for pushing him away like that... I never saw him this hurt. The only time I saw a similar pain in his eyes was when he told me about a monster destroying his home dimension.
I also never saw him genuinely cry before, I don't think he faked these tears. He does a lot of act to manipulate the once around him, but he would never get to the point to fake cry just to get what he wants.
His pride is to huge for such a pathetic move.

I supported my head on my arm, grabbing my hair and took some deep breaths in.
I'm so conflicted between my feelings and my logical thinking.

I really wish I could believe him that he wants to get better, that he regrets his mistakes and wants to improve, but I simply can't trust him. Not after all that happened between us.

My gaze fell onto the letter from the axolotl that Bill arrived with.

Flashback to the day Bill arrived:

I woke up by a wild knocking on the front door.
I looked at my clock that it was 2am.
„Who would knock at 2am on a house in the middle of the forest?', I thought to myself annoyed as I stood up and made my way down to the door.
The knocking got louder and faster and before I could reach the door it got kicked down.

I couldn't see much in the dark, but I could make out the siloulett of a boy. No one would just randomly come here at night, there must have been something outside that frightened the boy. I knew I needed to help, soI immediately started to worry and knelled down next to the boy.
„Whats going on? Are you hurt?", before the stranger could answer I heard a roar from outside.

I know a lot of dangerous creatures in the forest but none of them made such a sound that gives you goosebumps like this one.

I looked outside and saw a big, boney whatever monster outside with the most horrific face I ever saw. I couldn't even explain what I saw, but I immediately stepped in front of the boy and took my laser pistol out. And shot after that creature.
As it saw the light of the laser it ran away.

I stood there taking heavy breaths. I still couldn't believe what i just saw.
„Ugh..." I heard behind me. And remembered the boy that just flew into my house before.
I turned back to him and crunched down.
„What was that? And why was it following you?", the boy didn't look up to me and also didn't answer.

„Do you need water or a snack to calm down?", I asked as I put a hand gently on his shoulder. The boy flinched slightly and shakily held a letter out to me.

I looked confused from the letter back to the boy and took it. As I opened the letter I already saw the symbol of the all mighty axolotl.
,Oh no', I thought.
A year ago I visited axolotl, because he called out to me for Cipher.
Cipher has been send to a therapy prison and the axolotl wanted to know if I had some advice as to how to help bill since he didn't got any better.
I even shortly saw Bill.

He wore a orange prison uniform and had cracks on his triangle form from Stans punch. He sat in his cell that had blue and red triangles drawn all over it.
I felt some kind of victory seeing him on him lowest point. It felt like karma creeped up on him for destroying my life 30 years before.
But I also felt sorry for him...but I would never commit it to anyone.
