Chapter 6

I walk along the corridor that leads out of the ship, as I approach the exit I meet Kurapika and Leorio, "oh hey Kumiko-san!" the blonde calls me.

I smile at him, then I take them by the arm, "you're not happy, all a new phase to discover", I say cheerfully, "not really..." Leorio comments in response.

Once I get off the airship I look around, we find ourselves on a huge tower in the middle of a kind of forest. I leave Kurapika and Leorio to look for Gon and Killua , but I don't have time to walk two metres before I fall into a trap door.

I land on a soft pillow, I get up looking around, I'm in a room with no doors or windows just a screen, I get closer to it and I hear a metallic voice fill the room, "you have chosen the path 'until death do us part', you and the companion who enters will have to get to the end together if one of the two dies the other will still have to carry him to the end".

I snort, what a stupid thing, I sit down and wait, after a while a guy with blue hair and brown eyes enters the room screaming , "WHERE AM I?" how annoying, he has very broad shoulders and seems very muscular. I can say that he is not a great fighter though, his posture is rigid and heavy, I would be surprised if he could sit cross-legged.

I get up, this will be annoying, " hey, we have to do this journey together, my name is Kumiko Matsushime and what's your name?" I say after the metallic voice had filled the room again, also explaining to the guy what we had to do.

I want to be friendly, so that all this ends quickly. I don't like working in pairs, he looks at me disgusted, "DON'T HIT ON ME ! I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!" I blink in confusion, was I flirting? I don't remember, but he doesn't seem like the type I'd hit on. I shrug my shoulders and point to the door, all the excitement I felt about the test is gone, "come on we have 72 hours, blue hair" I say, not knowing his name, "DON'T GIVE ME NICKNAMES! I snort, this guy is an annoying idiot, if I kill him I can always drag him till the exit. I could do it anyway, but he starts heading towards the door.

I follow him, we walk in a long corridor until we reach a room and in the centre of the room there is an abyss, "you have reached the first part, you will have to cross this abyss without falling".

I look around and I see that there is a rope attached to the wall, I approach the guy, "there's a rope over here". I tell him since he hadn't seen it, "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO" ​​he shouts, however following my suggestion.

I swear I'm very close to running out of patience, I climb up after him, he risks to fall, but we make it. We go through the second door, there is a huge tank with sharks swimming inside, it is not very deep so they are forced to stay close to the surface and their fins cut through the water.

"Welcome to the second part, now you have to cross the tank", I look around but there's nothing. I think of a solution, I could jump on the backs of the sharks to get to the other side, but the guy wouldn't be able to, I could freeze the surface , but I don't know if he would have the balance to walk on ice, I could kill all the sharks and swim, but I don't think he would accept that, god this guy gets on my nerves! His mere existence is the source of all my problems!

"We could..." I start, "SHUT UP I'M THINKING!!" and now my patience is gone. I hate those who interrupt me telling me to shut up. I take out and throw one of my silver Kanzashi, which pierces his skull, killing him instantly.

I get closer and throw him on my shoulder, also picking up my Kanzashi, then jump on the back of the sharks reaching the door located on the other side of the room.

When I enter, I find an empty room, in which there is only one person, "Welcome to the third part you have to defeat your opponent", with that, the person is freed from the handcuffs.

I put the guy on the ground, I change the shape of my hands (like Killua does). I want to finish this quickly, I approach the person then I sprint forward reappearing behind them after having ripped out their heart. I leave it on the ground next to the corpse, I pick up my nameless companion and I walk forward going through the door.

The phase continues, there are 7 tests in total and all are more or less boring, after another fight. Which i win. I'm finally coming to the end. I can see the last door, I reach it, and I try to open it, but the door was closed and I couldn't break it. I take a deep breath, hoping to find a solution quickly.

After 30 minutes of searching I find the kee and I use it to open the door which moves laterally.
