04: The kiss

★Amore's Pov★

I'm wiping the kitchen island it's spotless but still I'm cleaning it.It's been a week since I last saw Dante heck I don't even think he's been home ever since that day.

I don't know if he's avoiding me or if he's lying in a ditch somewhere with bruises all over his body since he doesn't know how to talk to people politely.

The elevator dings and I stay frozen in my place I don't even know if I'm breathing.I hear voices talking and I let out a big sigh when I get a view of who it is.

It's just Marco with some other guy I haven't seen before they're each holding a large bag that looks too heavy.

"And then I told her that she–.. fucking hell!" Marco exclaims as he flinches.I guess he wasn't expecting anyone here.

"You scared the shit out of me." He said putting his hand right above his heart.

"Sorry." I try not to laugh at him for being such a scared cat.

"So you work here?"He said putting the large bag on the island and so does his other friend or is he even his friend?

"Yeah um it's been a week and a couple of days." I said.

Marco's mouth makes an ‘oh’.The other guy clears his throat.

"Oh shit Amore this is Antonio, Antonio....you get the idea." He said pointing between me and said Antonio.

"Hi." I wave at Antonio.

"Amigo,no me dijiste que eras amigo de una chica tan hermosa." Antonio said nudging Marco with his elbow. [Spanish Amigo,no me dijiste que eras amigo de una chica tan hermosa> Dude you didn't tell me you were friends with such a beautiful looking girl.]

"She can understand you." Marco said.

I just give them a lopsided smile."So what brings you here?"

"Uh just came to drop off some...things for capo."Marco said rolling his shoulders back.[ Italian >Capo> boss]

"So you have a boyfriend cause I was told I was boyfriend material." Antonio said with a dirty smirk on his face.

"Nobody's ever told you that." Marco intervenes.

Antonio ignores his intervention."So what do you say you and i..you know go out tonight." He flashes a grin.

"He gets gassy at night." Marco blurts.

I suppress a laugh.

"Dude!" Antonio whines.

"What? It's the truth and it stinks."Marco said and my tongue pokes the inside of my cheek holding back a laugh.

"Don't listen to him."Antonio laughs awkwardly.

"He makes out with a cut-out anime character."Marco exposed him.It's becoming too hard for me to hold back my laugh now.

Poor Antonio doesn't have a mouth.I feel bad for him for being exposed like this in front of a girl he's trying to win a date to.

"I mean it's normal right." I try to comfort poor Antonio."I also used to make out with my stuffed animals as a kid." I add.

"You're not helping."Poor Antonio leaves.

"Where are you going!?"Marco yells as Antonio walks to the elevator.

"I think he's mad at you." I said giving Marco a lopsided smile.

"Nah he'll get over it."Marco said."It was good seeing you again and I hope I'll see you around."
