It's been a couple of days since Jace texted me and we've been talking a lot.We even facetime each other.I learnt that he is a ventriloquist and he is really good at it.
“So will you be okay?” Nat asked.
“What?”
Mia sigh.“Were you even listening?”
“Sorry...what were you saying?” I've been so lost in my thoughts I wasn't even paying attention.
“I said Justin and I are going on a little trip this weekend a–”Nat said and I didn't even let her finish.
“I’ll be fine..I have Mia to hang out with.”I said focusing on the puzzle we're sorting in front of us.
They all pause looking at each other.“What?”I asked looking at them both.
“My parents asked me to come home this weekend there's a family gathering and I can't miss it.”Mia said.
I blink once.i blink twice.“What? So I'm going to be alone for the whole weekend?”
This is not okay.I mean the whole weekend? I'm supposed to hangout by myself without my best friends?I mean we do everything together.
“i’s just two days.”Mia said.
“Yeah two day without you guys...and what's worse is that it's the weekend.The WEEKEND.”
“Amore come on don't be dramatic two days is nothing.”Nat said.
“Two days is too much.What am I even supposed to do with myself?” I know it's just two days but I don't want them to leave me.
“You can....finish reading your book and..... maybe clean up your apartment.”She said looking around in disgust.
“My apartment doesn't need to be cleaned.”I defend my apartment.
“How about you call us when you get bored and we'll jeep you company.How's that?” Nat said.
I sigh.“Fine.”
They both smile.
“So..”Mia begins.“How’s everything going with Jace.”
“What are you talking about.”I continue sorting the puzzle.
“Come on we know you guys have been talking...he sent you a text the other day when you went to the bathroom.”Nat said.
“We're just talking nothing else.”
“So he hasn't asked you yet?”Mia asked.
“No an–”Im cut of by the sound of my phone ringing.
I reach for it on the couch behind me and Nat grabbed it.She gasp.“Speak of the devil.”She said with a dirty smirk on her face.
“Give me that.”I grabbed it.

Is everything okay.
(Mia and Nat sit on either sides of me to listen.)
Jace
Uh yeah everything is fine.i just...I don't know... thought I should say hi.
Oh that's nice of youuu–ouw.
(I scream in pain because Nat pinched me)
Jace
Are you okay.
Yeah I'm...fine
Jace
Oh okay...so I was wondering if–
(Mia and Nat are making moaning noises)
I take the phone away from my ear“Seriously guys?” I whisper.
Jace
Are you busy with something cause I can just call later.
No I'm not busy with anything
“Stop that.”I whisper to them and they don't listen they just do it more.
Gimme a sec
(I get up from the floor to get away from them but Mia grabs my leg stopping me from leaving.Nat just do the moaning noises)
(With all my strength I kick my leg and she lets go.These girls can be asses sometimes.I go to my room closing the door behind me)

Yeah I'm sorry (I laugh a bit)

Oh yeah....I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out with me this Saturday....on a date
(Is this really happening?Am I dreaming? I pinch myself to test if I'm not dreaming and I feel the pain..I'm not dreaming)

I feel like screaming right now.My crush just asked me out something I've been wanting since highschool.I walk out my bedroom and the girls were listening.“And what did he say?”Nat asked impatiently.
“He asked me out.”i blurt.
We all squeal in excitement.
“Im happy for you.”Nat hugged me.
“Thank you.”
“Okay I'm feeling left out.”Mia joins the hug.
Maybe this weekend won't so bad after all.
