Chapter 1: System Reset

UZI'S POV: SWEARING

"UZIII!!!!!" N yells, hugging me. "We didn't see each other for a day, N," I say in an annoyed but happy tone. He just laughs and answers with, "But it was the worst day of my life!" I sigh and hug him back. "Oh, Lovebirds," V says while walking up to us and rolling her eyes. I laugh slightly. She's always a mood killer, but in the best ways.
    "So, how was your day without me?" I ask. N is so clingy, and because of that, I already know his answer.  "HORRIBLE!" He yells. "Amazing," V says. I can't help but laugh. These people are dorks.
    "Aw, look at these cute little friendships," A voice everyone recognizes says. Shit. "J..?" V says, backing up a bit. I clench my fists. "I killed you once, and I'll do it again," I say through gritted teeth. J just laughs. "I'm not here for you idiots! I'm here for N." She says, smiling insanely. I look at N, and I can see the fear in his face.
Before I even know what's happening, I get chucked into a wall. Should've brought my railgun.

N'S POV:

"Not good, not good, not good!" I think, looking for a way to avoid confrontation. Sadly, I find nothing. I see Uzi and V get chucked into walls. J really isn't playing around. But before she can get to me, V tackles her. Uzi gets up and runs to me. "You should probably get out of here..." she says. I'm about to disagree, but then I look over. V is...down. J was able to beat her, and now she's making her way to me.
    She grabs Uzi by her head and chucks her. She lands next to V, and she's out too. Now it's just J and I. I'm panicking, but not because of my well being: Because of Uzi and V's. If they got killed because of me, I could never live with myself.
J changes her right hand to a chainsaw, and she's about to push that chainsaw through my head. But before she can, Uzi jumps in. Turns out, she wasn't down. Uzi pushes me back as V gets up too.
They're all fighting. V, Uzi and J. Thankfully, V and Uzi are winning. But I think I'm having a panic attack. I can't let them get hurt.
I can't.
I can't.

I CAN'T.
I jump in. I change my hand to a knife, and I aim for J. She dodges and tries to punch me, but I dodge too. "N! Get out of here, V and I can handle her!" Uzi says in a panicked tone. "Uzi, you guys let me handle her. She's after me, not you guys, and I'm not letting you guys get hurt for me again," I say, still trying to hit J. It's hard. She used to be my friend. I don't want to do this, but I have to protect Uzi and V. I HAVE TO.
Uzi and V back up a tiny bit. I change my hand to the chainsaw, and I aim right for J's chest. But J moves out of the way and it goes straight through Uzi's head.
As she falls, my heart drops. Did I just...kill her? Then I remember that she can heal herself, but it's too late.
Hot Temp.
System Error.
Error.
Error.
Error.
System: Overheating.
System: Reset.
Success.
Then everything went BŁÁÇĶ.
