**My Roommate Seems to be Bullying Me, Chapter 2**

When they play basketball or video games, I can only sit on the sidelines and watch.
Before college, my free time was either spent reading or helping my mom with chores. I never had the chance to play basketball, let alone video games.
Qi Shang tossed the ball in front of me, raising an eyebrow with a smirk. "Come on."
Unable to ignore his fiery invitation, my hands moved on their own, catching the ball. I stood up and walked toward him.
"I'm not very good at this..."
"That's okay. You'll get the hang of it."
He said that, but after the ball left my hands, I never touched it again.
I was like that clumsy dog in the village, following the action but not really knowing why.
I was busy, but I didn't know what I was busy with.
Following everyone to the basket, Qi Shang jumped up in front of me. His loose tank top flew up, revealing his chest and back in full view.
For some reason, I froze, forgetting to step back in time.
When Qi Shang landed, it felt like the world slowed down to half speed.
He stepped on my foot, his face first showing surprise, then slowly twisting in pain.
Qi Shang fell in front of me.
Waking up from my daze, I quickly crouched down.
He clutched his foot, gritting his teeth, glaring at me.
"Xia Qi, you can't play ball, but you sure know how to foul."
I didn’t quite understand what fouling meant, but it did seem like he fell because of me.
"Sorry," I apologized quickly, trying to help him up. "Can you stand?"
People around us started chattering. "Looks like he twisted his ankle. Better get it checked out."
Hearing that, I panicked. Without a word, I bent down and hoisted Qi Shang over my shoulder.
He immediately grabbed onto my waistband.
"Xia Qi, put me down right now."
I tried to calm him down as I headed to the medical room without stopping. "Don’t worry, I can carry 200 pounds. I won't drop you."
Qi Shang yanked on my waistband, pulling it lower. He shouted, "Put me down, or I'll pull your pants off."
I tried to interpret what he really meant and finally decided to obey. I set him down.
If he didn’t want to be carried, he could have just said so. No need to yell. Now everyone’s laughing at me.
I followed the limping Qi Shang into the medical room, discreetly Googling what "fouling" meant along the way. Seeing results like ligament tears and fractures, I started sweating.
"Qi Shang—"
My voice cracked with a hint of sobbing.
If he needs medical treatment, I can’t afford to pay!
Qi Shang had a stern expression but seeing my face, it softened awkwardly.
"Hey, it’s no big deal. Don’t worry about me, I’m not mad at you."
