**Chapter 6 of "My Roommate Seems to Be Bullying Me"**

---

“You… are you picking up a corpse?”

The man sized me up and replied calmly, “I’m his supervisor.”

“I’m his dad! Anyone can lie! Put him down.”

The man didn’t release Fang Ji. Instead, he pulled out his phone and showed me a chat screen between him and Fang Ji.

I took the phone without ceremony and glanced at the screen.

It did seem to be someone Fang Ji knew.

But I was still uneasy. He seemed to read my thoughts and pulled out his ID card.

“Take a picture. You can check my information.”

Under my watch, he took Fang Ji away.

I watched the tail lights of the car disappear around the corner and then remembered I had another problem.

The problem was that I had kissed Qi Shang.

And what’s worse, he actually seemed to like me.

---

Neither of us had our ID cards, so we couldn’t get back into the dorm with the gate locked.

We walked along the road, one in front and one behind. As the night grew colder, I couldn’t help but sneeze.

Qi Shang, who was walking in front, stopped and took off his jacket.

I immediately realized what he was doing.

“You don’t have to…”

But he insisted on placing the jacket on my shoulders.

His hand, however, didn’t let go.

After a moment of hesitation, he pulled the collar of the jacket closer, guiding me a step forward.

“Don’t push me away.”

Qi Shang held me closer.

The jacket on my back carried his body warmth, while his chest pressed against my heart.

I felt trapped, caught in the gentle prison named Qi Shang.

“I like you, Xia Qi.”

The empty road was swept by the sound of passing cars, and my heart had never been so flustered.

---

That night, Qi Shang and I walked on the road until dawn.

After the confession, neither of us said a word.

Fang Ji sent me a message early the next morning, apologizing for his behavior last night and transferring the money back to me.

I wasn’t wrong—he was indeed heartbroken and drunk.

His sadness had been evident in his eyes these past few days.

【Is he a man?】

The reply took a long time to type before finally confirming.

【Is he the man in the trench coat?】

This time it was a quick reply.

【No, he’s my supervisor.】

I couldn’t help but worry about him. What if Aunt Fang was waiting for him to bring someone back?

I thought about my mom. For some reason, I felt she wouldn’t be like Aunt Fang.
