AMARI WILLIAMS
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
"Wassup ma, nobody been fucking with you right?"
He inquires leaning on the cold tiled wall next to the jail phone.Amari hasn't spoken to his girlfriend in over two weeks. His phone privileges were revoked because of the numerous fights with his cell mates and crashing out on the guards.
"Hey Amari. I'm fine, how are you?" Keliese responds nonchalantly.
Rolling his eyes at her tone, he lets off a heavy sigh. "Don't sound so unenthusiastic when you talk to me, come on now. And I'll be better when I get up outta here." Glancing around at the prison guards pacing the hallway with the cells in it.
"For someone classified as government property and speaking with limited minutes right now, I know you sure as hell not telling me what to do like i'm not paying to talk to yo ass." Keliese replied with snark.
Chuckling to himself at her smart mouth "Youn gotta keep paying ta talk to me if youn want to. I been told you what it's hitting on; don't act like you don't wanna hear from me shorty."
"Nobody said allat boy, relax." Keliese slightly smiles rolling her eyes playing with her pink french tips she just recently got done. If it was one thing about Keliese Jones? She was always going to pamper herself. With or without a man. Thanking her mother for that mentality being instilled in her at the ripe age of 9.
Smiling at her tone, memories of their relationship before he got locked up ushered rapidly into his mind. "How you been without me? Nobody fucking with you?" He restlessly asks again.
"You know I been missing you bae. I told you I'm doing fine, when are you going to trial again? I gotta make sure FashionNova delivers my package in time." she informs him, finally letting her guards down.
"I missed you too baby." He says before looking behind his shoulder to make sure the guards that were walking around the hall won't hear him. If prison taught him anything the block didn't, it was to never leave anyone unsuspected, all the preliminary aspects of a person could come into perspective later.
"I'm going on trial next week, I take it imma see you in the stands waiting for me?" He pushes with a brow raised.
Allowing a soft smile to come across her face she silently nods in agreement. Seeing her man, even if it's for a mere 30 minutes of subtle glances and mouthed sweet nothings, would at least alleviate some of her stress.
