I had this idea of mine during my playthrough of Mass Effect 2. Imagine what if Cerberus, a pro-human organization, started a program to raise and train super soldiers like in Halo. After all, they want something that is Quality over Quantity. Well, from my perspective during their first appearance in ME2.
In this story, Shepard (Female) gets a Cerberus message from TIM (The Illusive Man) it states that a Cerberus facility that focuses on evolving human genes and creating the perfect superhuman has gone rogue or off the radar from the rest of the Organization. TIM suggested to investigate and to find out what happened to that facility.
