Chapter 3

Harry's POV
"Who are you?" Arthur asked as he tried his best to shield both George and me.

"Do not fear me, Lord Weasley. I will never harm my master." The person in the hood said.

That was when all the dots joined in our heads. That was Death. The Lord Death.

"So, I am Master of Death? And I got it because I have the Peverell blood and had all three Deathly Hallows?" I asked.

Death nodded.

"Fate and Mother Magic, along with Time and I, we wanted a little favor from you, master." Death said.

"A favor from me?" I asked.

"Yes. We didn't want your mate, Severus to die." Death said.

"Then, why is he dead?" I asked.

"We want him back, as well as the correct use of magic. There has to be a balance of light and dark magic. This world is light magic heavy. There is no trace of balance." Death said.

"You mean to say that like there is a balance between life and death, there should be a balance between light and dark magic?" I asked.

Death nodded.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked.

"We want you to go back in time. To the time before, your mate is in Hogwarts. We want you to guide him so that he doesn't take the dark mark. And make sure the Potter-Black-Lupin-Pettigrew group, or the Marauders, as they call themselves, never hurt him." Death said.

"How can I do that?" I asked.

Death lifted his hood. He wasn't like a skeleton figure, as they have described him in the books. He looked like a Malfoy, but more regal. The difference was that he had obsidian black hair and purple eyes. He smirked. "Fate and Time will make sure that when you land in that time, all the blocks and potions in your system will be gone. You would also know how to speak with Lords. You would also know how magic was practiced a long time ago, when there was no light and dark magic, when magic was just that, magic. We would like you to go to Gringotts when you land there to know who you are at that time." He said.

I nodded. "How should I protect him in Hogwarts? Do you want me to teach?" I asked.

Death nodded.

"What about my mastery?" I asked.

"You will have a mastery in defense, healing, and Charms. All the knowledge will be put in your head if you accept to try your level best to make this world a better place." Death said.

I nodded.

"I would also give you Mage sight. You will know the difference between a person with good and bad intentions towards your goals. I will ask you to make sure neither Dumbledore nor Tom Riddle succeeded in how they want the world to be. All you have to do is collect all the horcruxes and call for me. I will pick the main soul and give him an option. What it is is not what you are supposed to know. It is what we god will decide on." Death said.

I nodded.

"What about us?" George asked.

"The only one who would retain their memory is my master. You might not remember him, but your soul will tell you that you have to be on his side." Death said.

"That is all that I need." George said.

"Can I change Arthur's and George's fate? Can I make sure that Arthur has his mates and George never loses his twin?" I asked.

Death nodded. "If you succeed in what we want you to do, that will automatically happen. Though you might have to keep an eye on Molly and Arthur while they will be in their last year of Hogwarts. You will be put seven years before Severus starts his first year, which is four years before his mother dies. We do not want you to take Severus in. We want him to come to you on his own. We want you to make yourself quite known in the Wizengamot in two years after you are placed in that time. Any help from us will be provided. Then, you will collect all horcruxes and call for me. What happens to Tom Riddle depends on his decision. If I were to ask you to take his soul, can you do it?" Death asked.

I nodded.

"Then, you will go to the goblins and say that you have killed the Dark Lord even if Tom Riddle lives, though I doubt he will. The goblins can declare that to the entire world, and the ministry with the magical death certificate provided by Mother Magic herself." Death said.

I nodded.

"Dumbledore will automatically call you to teach in Hogwarts, so I want you to go to Hogwarts in three years from you being placed in that time. When Molly and Arthur reach their final year, you would be their DADA professor. From then, slowly make sure you dismantle the throne Dumbledore has built for himself." Death said.

I nodded as I looked at Arthur and George. They were smiling at me.

"Make sure I get to keep my twin with me this time, Harrykins." George said.

"I would like to ask you to make sure I don't fall for Molly and marry the ones I was supposed to and live with them and my children for the rest of my life." Arthur said.

I nodded.

I looked at Ragnorok. "You will have full support of the goblins. Our magic works differently, and I was the head of Britain Gringotts even then, so it would be easy for you. All you have to do is say that you want to meet me and that you already have an appointment." He said.

I conveyed my gratitude, to which he replied that he was doing this not for me but for his entire clan, as it would be beneficial for them too.

I looked at Death. "Ready master?" He asked.

"Always." I said with a smile on my face.
