The vessel tossed upon the wild waves, and it was quite difficult to keep a sturdy balance. The pirate could feel the plight of the situation, and he knew, he had to flee from that region, lest he wanted himself to be thrown out into the raging sea. Yet, his eyes didn't want to leave the sight in front of him.

The sweet face of the sleeping individual made his heart palpitate faster, as he could easily agree to the fact that he had never ever seen someone with such beauty in his past. At first, he wasnt if he was actually sleeping. Perhaps an immediate check of the pulse did the actual wonder.

This anonymous person looked more of a mythological deity than a mortal, pristine skin of ivory kissed by the sea waters, lips plush and scarlet, soft and sweet as the red roses, fast asleep against the tangled ropes and nets. The pirate was still not sure what to do, yet he knew, he was supposed to run back and take hold of the ship. He was the captain after all.

For a moment, a thought flashed across his mind and he immediately looked downwards at the sleeping body, quickly heaving a sigh of relief to see a pair of feet sticking out of the nets and he realised that this person had human legs and hence, is a part of the mortal realm with no doubt.

"He's not a Siren," he whispered to himself.

The pirate stood up, placing the lantern upon a hook nearby by its handle. The whirling storm was now making it all difficult and hence, he planned to execute his scheme faster. Something told him that this boy was unclothed and therefore, he carefully picked him up along with the few pieces of fishnets wrapping his body. He then walked down the deck, carrying the sleeping boy in his arms, as fast as he could and immediately went inside his chambers, almost ignoring the perplexed looks of his shipmates.

Hongjoong, the pirate, placed the boy upon his bed with care. He watched him sigh and breath a little heavily, lips slightly parting, taking in a deep breath and then, resuming back to his form. The little speck of chance upon his sleeping face brought a smile on the pirate's visage, as he looked deeper at the beauty, eyes reluctant to leave.

Adorable.

But he had duty. Therefore, with one last look at the nameless intruder upon his ship, he went out of his room and closed the door, ready to face the raging storm.

The night was wild and the storm was strong. Yet the pirate's men were not the ones to loose. They were thankful about the fact that there weren't any other ship around to attack on them, as it would have been a little difficult to rage a war with such a brutal storm whirling about.

With the power of their union and the skillful hand of the pirate and his right hand man, they could finally save the ship from a possible wreckage. After a long stretch of time, the rains ceased and finally, the gales subsided.

It was calm.

The men trooped along to rectify all the ruins, put things back to their places and the major work, to transfer all the accumulated water upon the vessel into the ocean. They work relentlessly, the captain lending a hand as well, and soon, most of it was executed.

"Go and get some rest," ordered the captain, "We can work on this tomorrow, mates. The night is short and it'll be day soon. Get a brisk of sleep before that."

The sailors were elated at the decision and soon, retired to their chambers within the ship, leaving just the captain of the ship behind. Silent. It was all silent once again.

Hongjoong turned to the door of his room within the ship, and quickly froze. Not exactly, perhaps a little unsure. Instead, he sighed and turned around to gaze at the dark waters. He walked up to the edge, eyes fixated at the waters, mind lurking back to his room. He looked up to see the dark clouds fleeting past the gorgeous moon, soon getting unveiled and splashing the waters with her silvery ripples of blessings.

It looked so pure and pristine, just like the one within his room, upon his bed.

Hongjoong sighed, looking at his heavily ringed fingers and chains around his wrists, feeling flummoxed. What is this feeling? He had never heard of it, neither had he ever felt it before. He had heard other people feeling it and eventually embracing it.

But he? A pirate? Never.

This feeling of his heart thumping faster everytime his mind pictured that face. This feeling of a sudden surge of need and an emptiness within because of not having it within him. This feeling of urge, of a twist of emotions battling with each other, not knowing who will be victorious. This feeling of confusion, with a strong positivity of acceptance and a negativity of rejection and a neutrality of what to do in between.

Hongjoong knew he wouldn't be able to sleep tonight, especially when a mortal reincarnation of the angels above had occupied his space. The only thing he could spend time doing was study his astronomy books. He loved the sky and knowing about it was his hobby since his boyhood.

Hongjoong knew every movement of all the stars like the palm of his hand, the Sun and also the moon. He was skilled about every bit of it and hence, controlling his ship was what he took pride in, even though he knew, no one could be better than San, his right hand man. He chuckled at that.

The pirate walked down the lonely deck towards his room to get his books. He slowly opened the door with a sharp, short lasting screech, and walked in. As obvious as it would seem, his gaze immediately fell upon his bed and no sooner did he look, than, he froze.

The anonymous boy was now, awake, sitting upright upon his bed, looking around in daze of confusion and unfamiliarity.
