AkkAyan ~ University life pt.1🎓

Synopsis: After facing difficulty to decide, Akk joins Ayan for UK university after all. But they face challenges while continuing the studies and dating in the foreign land.

Akk throws himself on the double bed and sighs loudly. He is so tired after returning to the empty apartment, which he shares with his boyfriend. It's only 7pm but his shift at the cafe today was pretty hectic. His- just washed- hair crates a dump over the pillow but he doesn't care.

He checks his phone and there are no messages from Ayan so he calls him.

"I am still at the club. I will call you back" His boyfriend says in hurry, ending the call immediately.

Lately Akk has started to miss Ayan even though they are going to the same university and staying at the same apartment. This is not what he thought it would be when Ayan told him he would be joining  a literature club at the university because he is too bored coming to the empty apartment after the classes while Akk has a campus job at the cafe. "so this is how Ayan must have felt" he thinks to himself.

Akk still can't help but overthink if he has even made a right choice following his richer boyfriend to the abroad. It's just mid of the first semester and he has already started to miss his homeland. Language everyone speaks around him is different. They don't sell actual Thai food even in "authentic Thai food" places. And all the enthusiasm of going to the foreign university has gone now, which had kept him going after landing here. He miss hanging out with Kan and Wat.

He decided to study computer engineering as it promises quick money even from doing internship, while Ayan selected for Liberal Arts. Akk was all set to go to university in Bangkok itself but Ayan's mother was able to find a student organization just in time that sponsors the top students for their future studies. Basically students would pay back once they get a job at very low interest rates. Akk's grades were impressive and his application was selected among many. Plus he was happy there won't be single soul knowing his past. Even though Akk finished his punishment as well as he had stepped down from student council's president position, he is still healing from what he did. Ayan and him - both are helping each other to heal from their traumas. Change of place would be nice they thought.

Akk had to take a campus job for living cost which Ayan had offered to cover but Akk had felt its better this way.

Ayan is fluent in English so he faced no issues to find new friends at his faculty. Akk on the other hand, struggled a bit but after long efforts and with Ayan's contacts he made one friend who is also Thai in his faculty. According to Ayan, Akk's English is great he just lacks the confidence to speak. He is super supportive boyfriend and would visit him at his faculty or at the cafe until his new friends talked him into joining the literature club! Ayan is a vivid reader so he loved taking that journey for him.

But that meant, he has to stay back at the university late since a big club event is approaching. Akk missed coming to the apartment with smell of homemade Thai food and his boyfriend would hug him being clingy by his side. Akk would whine about the customers at the cafe or his classmates. Ayan would share whole new perspective at looking at things. The night would end up either snuggling in bed or in a hot sex.

But now he just returns to an empty apartment tired to even cook so he just ends up ordering some bland food from the nearby restaurant, finish his assignments And finding himself extremely sleepy when Ayan returns home already eaten with club mates. By the time Ayan finishes his work, Akk is already asleep. Obviously Akk didn't say anything to Ayan about how he is feeling about the whole change. He doesn't want to sound like clingy unsupportive boyfriend. Plus he knows their struggles with mental health in the past.
