As usual Mr Schuester was writing on the whiteboard this time he wrote Christopher Cross
"All right. Who can tell me who Christopher Cross is?" Mr Schuester asked
"He discovered America" Britt said as Finn nodded
"Close. He did write an iconic chart topper, "sailing"." Mr Schuester said
"I have a bad feeling about this lesson" Kurt said
"Never heard of him. Don't wanna hear about him." Tina said
"Now, some people think of the term "easy listening" as a bad thing." Mr Schuester started. "But I'm gonna let this music speak for itself, you guys love Lady GaGa, and the rolling stone, and you guys are really good about putting it all out there. But really good music can also be controlled and restrained, it doesn't have to attack an audience. It can let them come to you."
"How can you get caught between the moon and New York City?" Finn asked. "They like 100 miles apart"
"Mr Schue, if I may I think I speak for all of us, when I say that it's not that we don't love the idea of spending a week on this silky- smooth adult contemporary. It just that, as teens, this isn't the easiest music for us to relate to. However there's a burgeoning Facebook campaign, that has swelled to over five members, the ardent demands? That this week at the homecoming assembly, the McKinley High School Glee Club perform a number by, wait for it, Ms Britney Spears" Kurt waffled on
"Yo, Spears is fierce, yo" Artie said
"Yeah" Tina cheered and clapped
"Sorry,Kurt" Mr Schue interrupted. "Kurt. Sorry. No, no, no, I don't think she's a very good role model"
"But mr Schue we kinda grew up with her" Rachel said
"She's literally why I wanted to become a performer" Tina said
"I don't wanna do Britney" Britt brought up
"Why no Britney, Brittany" Kurt puns
"Because my name is also Brittany spears." She said confusing us
"What?" Mr Schue asked
"What the hell she's talking about" Mercedes asked
"My middle name is Susan, my last name is Pierce, that makes me Brittany S Pierce, Brittany Spierce" she told us. "I've lived my entire life in Britney Spears shadow, I will never be talented or as famous, I hope you'll all respect that I want Glee Club to remain a place where I, Brittany S Pierce, can escape the torment of Brittany Spears"
"Well, there you have it guys" mr Schue said. "It's been decided, no Britney, sorry."
"Thanks Brittany, thanks a lot" Kurt spat out
"Leave Brittany alone" Santana said
"Thank you for understanding" britt said. "It's been a hard road."
"Uhm can we move on?" Rachel asked
"Yes. Let's talk about Michael Bolton" mr Schue said
Cut to Finns locker
Me and Artie was currently at the hallway when we saw Finn in trouble
"We probs should help" I said to Artie as he nodded
"Sorry to interrupt" Artie started as I crossed my arms. "I'm actually glad you're here to see this, Finn I actually just wanted to apologise for getting you kicked off the team just hope there are no hard feelings" he said as he stuck his hand out for Finn to shake. "So what are you guys talking about?"
"Dude take him" Karofsky said
"His wheelchair kid is in the way. What if I knock him over" Azimio said
"Ah, something not right about hitting a kid in a wheelchair" Karofsky stuttered and not gonna lie I was enjoying every second of this
"The only thing that is saving you right now is my moral code" Azimio ranted. "I don't hit crippled people but I'll be back. Were gone be back"
As they walked off I let out a laugh that I had be holding on
Miss Pillsbury's boyfriend turned up talking about dental care, most were alright, Brittany,Rachel,Artie had blue teeth, everyone had a Britney fantasy and now it ended up here at the homecoming assembly, Mr Schue said we were allowed to do Britney but also said he was gonna join, boy yall shoulda seen our faces, we wanted to do it ourselves not have our teacher join us so he could impress our guidance teacher
(You do a flip and spin, which made girls go crazy, you slso do the same dance as puck)
Cut to hallway
Finns locker
I was talking to a cheerio about random shit which was near Finns locker when I saw Quinn walk up to him, I was tryin to pay attention to the cheerio that was talking to me but Quinn had my attention
"Congrats Finn. You're back on the team. I'm head cheerleader again. Some kind of symmetry. Don't you think?" She asked him as I felt my heart drop. "With all the nastiness between you and I behind us, I think we should be together. We'd be a shoo- in for homecoming king and queen, so what do you say? You and me, 8:00, breadstiX?"
Oh hell nah not breadstiX, my goddamn work place, I could feel myself getting angry
"Look I'd be lying if I said I didn't have feelings for you. Probably always will. But I am not getting back together with you. There's someone else, you know who that is. I'm asking you to respect that. I'm sorry." He said before walking off, I let out a sigh of relief, that was hard to watch
"I'm sorry I gotta go" I told the cheerio before walking off to Quinn
"Hey.." I said softly
"Please tell me you didn't see that" she said indicating her convo with her ex, I looked down still feeling hurt
"I-I did, can I ask why?" I asked as she held my hand and dragged me along, stopping at Rachel which confused me
" I said what you wanted me to. He shot me down. So, congrats, looks like he really loves you" she said as I looked at the ground not knowing where to look, we then both left
