Mei-Senpai=Thoughts

Pyrrha gasped for air, her body trembling. She was on her knees, struggling to steady herself in the dimly lit room. Every breath was labored, and her fingers trembled as she reached up to feel the faint purple lines of infection running along her skin.

"Huff... huff..." Her breath came out in short, desperate bursts, but she couldn't give in. Not now.

A familiar voice pierced the haze of her exhaustion. "You're going to be alright, Pyrrha."

She jerked her head up, eyes widening as she saw a figure before her, the light illuminating their form. "Ragna?" she whispered, her voice filled with disbelief. Ragna stood there, calm and collected, as if death had never taken her. Pyrrha's heart raced as she tried to make sense of what was happening.

But it wasn't real. It couldn't be.

Before she could gather her thoughts, the light vanished, and the scene shifted. Pyrrha was suddenly lying in a hospital bed, sunlight streaming through the window. She blinked, slowly waking up from what felt like a deep slumber. "Hoo..." she breathed, her hand instinctively reaching out to her side.

Ren's calm voice cut in, but it was laced with confusion. "Look, she's cured. Completely."

Nora leaned forward, her eyes wide. "How? Did we miss something? One minute she's dying, and now..." Her voice trailed off, as if she couldn't even comprehend it.

Jaune was still frozen. "I don't understand. How could Pyrrha go from that to... to being fine?"

"Maybe there's a cure we don't know about?" Ren offered, but his tone showed he wasn't convinced. His normally steady gaze flickered with uncertainty.

"We've seen what the Honkai can do," Jaune whispered, mostly to himself. "No one survives once it's that far gone. But Pyrrha did... how?"

Ruby stared at the screen, her eyebrows furrowing as Pyrrha gasped for breath. She gripped the edge of the table in front of her, leaning in closer. "How is she... cured?" Ruby mumbled, almost like she was talking to herself. The infection had looked so severe. Her confusion mirrored on her teammates' faces. "There's no way something that advanced just disappears like that."

Blake, always the logical one, glanced toward Ruby, "It doesn't make sense. We've been watching the Honkai for so long. That level of infection... people don't survive that easily. No one has."

"Right?!" Ruby's voice held a mix of surprise and frustration. "Pyrrha was on the verge of—" she hesitated to finish, not wanting to voice what they had all been thinking moments before.

"Dead," Yang bluntly said, crossing her arms as she leaned back in her chair. "She was about to die. But now she's fine? This is... confusing."

Weiss, ever observant, nodded slowly. "There has to be something we're missing. Someone, or something, cured her."

"Good to see you awake, Doctor Pyrrha," the nurse said with a warm smile. "The professor is waiting for you outside. He'd like to meet you once you're ready."

Later, as Pyrrha stood in front of a young patient's bed, Otto approached her. His expression was calm but serious. "You look great, Doctor Pyrrha. That's quite a speedy recovery you've had."

Pyrrha didn't respond, her eyes locked on the patient. The child lay motionless, her body ravaged by the Honkai sickness. Purple lines snaked across her pale skin, marking the inevitable end.
