She slowly woke up near the floor. Oops. She forgot about that..
She was about to stand up but noticed a small box near her.
Curiously, she picked it up and gently opened it.
Inside was a teddy bear. The box inside was decorated with cute, plastic flowers and there was a small tag on the teddy bear with a signature on it.
By seeing the tag, it was from Rosey! Well, she could already tell because of the decor but nonetheless, she's thankful.
She sighs and looks around, putting the plushie somewhere safe before going out about her usual day...
But right before she was about to actually stand up-
-"B O O !"
"AAA-"
She immediately falls back down
"WHAT THE F- WHAT'RE YOUUU DOIN HERE?? HOW DID YOU EVEN GET HERE SO QUICKLY-"
Amber stands in front of Charlotte with a rather smug smile before it fades. "I found your location. You were keeping me waiting for about a few hours now since 12 at midnight."
"ಠ_ಠ..."
"...mhm?"
"....okay, shady but.. WHAT DID YOU WANT?"
"...the radios. Why don't we fix them?"
"......"
"...¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
"Sure. You didn't have to scare me for that though.."
Charlotte hopped back to her feet, looking around before starting to go through shelves, rummaging around.
"You didn't lose them right..?"
"Nah, of course not. Im sure no one stole it, see!"
She pulls out the broken radios, showing them off to Amberlyn.
Amber looked at them before taking one of them, inspecting it. "We don't really have any tools, do we..?"
"Nope"
"Hmm.. how do we improvise then ..?"
"...."
"...."
"Oh, I'll get a stick outside, and you can try to carve the end into a screwdriver shape! You have a knife don't you? :3"
"Oh yeah, right. That'll probably work. Go get it!"
"On it! >:3"
So then, they start working. With simple makeshift tools, they at least, somewhat did a good job. The radios were a little rustier but now the connections on them were connected accordingly. It took about hours to deal with all of them, but once they handled the first one, it was pretty easy to fix the other 2.
Finally, for testing, they decided to go out, with the radios in their pockets to see how they would actually work in the environment of Nevada.
While looting an empty building, Charlotte and Amber both split up to find supplies.
A small beep rang through the radio before Charlotte heard Ambers voice. "Is this working..?"
Immediately, she picked dit up and pressed the button. "Yeah!! I heard you well! I think we outdid ourselves!"
"Outdid is an overstatement."
"Well, works nicely doesn't it? ;p"
"Hh.."
