Participant's Guidelines for the Olympus Awards

Consistent Username:

Participants must use the same Wattpad username throughout the competition for tracking purposes.

Active Participation:
Participants are required to remain active on Wattpad for the duration of the Olympus Awards. If you need to take a break or step away temporarily, notify the contest host to ensure smooth communication.

Respectful Conduct:
Respect is a core value of the Olympus Awards. Treat fellow participants, judges, and organizers with courtesy and professionalism. Any form of disrespect or misconduct, whether on Wattpad or elsewhere, will result in consequences, including potential disqualification.

Original Content Only:
All submissions must be your original work, crafted by your own creativity. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification from the Olympus Awards, along with potential reporting to Wattpad.

No AI-Generated Work:
Submissions must be entirely human-written. AI-generated content is strictly forbidden in this competition and will result in instant disqualification. We seek to honor the genuine artistry of storytelling.

Final Judgments:
The decisions of the Olympus Awards judges are final and binding. No appeals, disputes, or challenges to the results will be entertained.

Language Requirement:
All stories must be written in English to ensure fair evaluation by the Olympus Awards judging panel.

Chapter Minimum:
Each story must consist of at least 4 chapters, excluding prologues and epilogues. This ensures a substantial amount of content for judges to evaluate.

One Entry Per Story:
Each story can only be submitted in one category of the Olympus Awards. Submitting the same story to multiple categories will result in disqualification from the contest.

Follow Your Judge:
When assigned a judge, participants are required to follow their respective judge's Wattpad account.

Impartiality:
Judges are expected to evaluate all entries without bias or favoritism. Focus exclusively on the story's merit, creativity, and alignment with the Olympus Awards criteria.

Timely Evaluation:
All judges must adhere to the provided timeline for reviewing and evaluating submissions. This ensures that participants receive prompt feedback and that the contest progresses smoothly.

Clear Evaluation Criteria:
Judges must follow the established criteria for evaluating stories, including plot development, character depth, writing style, originality, and thematic execution...

Conflict of Interest:
Judges are required to disclose any personal or professional connections to participants prior to evaluations. This prevents potential bias and maintains the fairness of the judging process.

Professional Conduct:
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with participants, organizers, and fellow judges. The behavior of judges reflects the overall integrity and reputation of the Olympus Awards.

Active Participation:
Judges are expected to remain active on Wattpad for the duration of the contest. If an absence is anticipated, notify the host in advance to ensure continuity in judging.

Respect and Courtesy:
Treat all participants, organizers, and fellow judges with respect and professionalism. Any form of inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the judging panel.

Feedback Requirements:

Detailed Feedback (400 words): Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback that highlights both the strengths and areas for improvement in each story. Help participants grow in their writing journey.

Review (200 words): Offer a concise summary of your thoughts, focusing on the story's standout elements and how it could be enhanced.

Confidentiality:
All entries, evaluations, and discussions within the judging panel must remain confidential until the official results are announced. Any breach of confidentiality will result in removal from the judging panel.

Communication:
Judges should stay in regular contact with the host via Gmail. Reach out if any issues arise or clarifications are needed during the judging process.
