Aneung

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, the weight of the white blanket pulling me back into its warmth. Naked beneath it, I found myself nestled in the arms of a beautiful woman, my heart swelling as I remembered last night. Professor Neung. Her relentless passion still lingered in my thoughts—no one would believe how intensely she loved.

I smiled at the memory, turning to check the time.

7 AM.

I needed to sneak back to my room, freshen up, and meet my friends for breakfast before they noticed anything strange.

My fingers traced the delicate lines of her face as I admired her soft, serene expression.

"How can someone look so effortlessly beautiful, even when sleeping?" I whispered.

A hoarse yet gentle voice broke the silence.

"Why not?" Her eyes fluttered open, revealing those warm brown irises that always left me breathless.

"You're awake..." I smiled shyly.

She returned the smile, softer, almost tender. It felt different—a smile reserved for a lover.

"I had to be. Someone was complimenting me," she teased, her voice still heavy with sleep.

"What time is it?" she asked, her eyes drifting shut again.

"Seven," I whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her lips, curious if she would brush off what had happened between us, like before.

"Mm. You should head back soon, before Yui and Folk start asking questions," she murmured, her arm still firmly wrapped around my waist, her warmth pulling me in closer.

I pouted slightly, not wanting to leave this moment. "Yeah, I know. But it feels so nice to wake up next to you... my lover." The word slipped out without thinking.

Her eyes shot open. "Lover? Are we calling it that now?" She looked at me, fully awake, a flicker of something serious in her gaze.

"I mean, we've... you know, done it twice," I said, my voice softening. "If we don't label it, things will only get more complicated."

She sighed, her face reflecting the weight of her thoughts. Responsibilities. Boundaries. I could sense her struggle.

"It's okay, Ar-neung. We don't have to define it if you're not ready," I reassured her gently. A wave of relief washed over her face.

"Are you sure?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm sorry, Aneung."

I cupped her face in my hands, trying to convey understanding. "We can be exclusive... without labels."

"Exclusive?" She raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by the term.

"Yeah. Like, we're not officially lovers, but we're... something. Just... us. Exclusive partners, maybe?" I explained, fumbling for the right words.

She gave it some thought before nodding. "Okay. Exclusive partners, then. For now." She sealed her agreement with a soft kiss.

"Now, go on. You need to get back before anyone suspects," she prompted, reluctantly letting go.

We dressed quickly, though neither of us really wanted to part. At the door, she pulled me into a tight hug. "I'll see you at breakfast," she whispered, her breath warm against my ear.
