In the cozy confines of their shared apartment, the evening was winding down. Dabi and Hawks had settled into their usual routine, with Hawks lounging comfortably on the couch while Dabi, ever the mischievous partner, was sprawled on the other end.
Hawks, with a playful glint in his eye, he was feeling a bit mischievous today, turned to Dabi and smirked. "You know, I've been thinking," he began, stretching out languidly, "You're not really that great at tickling."
Dabi raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a knowing grin. "Is that so?" he drawled, a glimmer of challenge in his eyes. "Maybe you just haven't experienced the full extent of my skills."
Hawks chuckled, shaking his head. "Oh, I've experienced enough. I think you're overrated."
Dabi's grin widened as he slowly stood up, sauntering over to where Hawks was reclining. "Well, let's test that theory, shall we?"
Before Hawks could react, Dabi's hands were already working their way towards Hawks' sides. The touch was light at first, just teasing his ribs, but it didn't take long for Dabi to intensify the tickling. His fingers danced with practiced precision, targeting all the most sensitive spots.
Hawks burst into laughter almost instantly, his body writhing as he tried to escape the relentless tickling. "D-Dabi! Stop! I-I'm sorry! I take it back!" he managed to gasp between fits of laughter.
Dabi chuckled, clearly enjoying the sight of Hawks' unrestrained mirth. "Oh, I'm just getting started. You've got to learn not to underestimate me."
Hawks' laughter only grew more intense as Dabi's fingers dug in harder, moving in deliberate patterns inside his armpits that left Hawks helpless. He squirmed and kicked his legs, his laughter filling the room as he tried in vain to escape.
"Alright! Alright!" Hawks finally managed to choke out, his voice hoarse from laughing. "You win! You're definitely the best tickler!"
Dabi paused, his fingers still hovering over Hawks' sides. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against Hawks' ear. "Good to know. Now, are you going to remember that next time you want to joke about my skills?"
Hawks nodded vigorously, his face flushed from both laughter and the intensity of the tickling. "Absolutely. I'll never doubt you again."
Dabi's fingers relaxed, and he moved to sit beside Hawks, who was now catching his breath and wiping tears from his eyes. He wrapped an arm around Hawks, pulling him close.
"Good," Dabi said with a satisfied grin. "Now, how about we just cuddle for a while? I promise no more tickling."
Hawks leaned into Dabi's embrace, his laughter fading into contented sighs. "That sounds perfect."
As they settled into each other, the room was filled with a comfortable silence, broken only by the occasional soft chuckle from Hawks. The playful tickling had only brought them closer, reaffirming the bond they shared and the love that made their evenings together so special.
