Dabi and Hawks had been enjoying a rare quiet afternoon at home. The usually bustling hideout of the League of Villains was calm today, with only the gentle hum of the air conditioning filling the air. It was one of those rare moments where they had time to just be together.

Hawks was lounging on the couch, looking unusually glum. His usual bright demeanour was replaced with a furrowed brow and a pout that seemed to deepen with every passing minute. Dabi, ever observant of his partner's moods, couldn't help but notice the change.

"Hey, feathers," Dabi said, his voice soft but with a teasing undertone. "You look like someone just stole your favourite toy. What's up?"

Hawks sighed heavily, pulling his wings in tighter around himself. "It's nothing," he mumbled, though the glint in his eyes suggested otherwise.

Dabi's eyes narrowed, a playful smirk growing on his lips. "Oh, come on. You know you can't fool me with that pout. Let me help you feel better."

Before Hawks could react, Dabi was already moving. With a swift motion, he pinned Hawks gently against the couch, his body warm and comforting against Hawks'. The red feathers of Hawks' wings fluttered as he tried to wriggle free, but Dabi had a firm, loving hold.

"What are you up to?" Hawks asked, his voice a mixture of curiosity and the faintest hint of nervousness.

Dabi's smirk widened. "Well, if you're going to be all mopey, I think it's my duty as your boyfriend to cheer you up." He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against Hawks' belly, and then planted a soft kiss right in the centre.

Hawks gasped, a surprised giggle escaping his lips. "Dabi, what—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Dabi's lips were moving across Hawks' belly, planting light, tickling kisses that made Hawks squirm and laugh uncontrollably. Each kiss seemed to tickle just enough to make Hawks giggle harder, his earlier gloom melting away in a fit of laughter.

"Stop, stop!" Hawks managed to say between bursts of laughter, his voice high and breathless. "That tickles so much!"

Dabi didn't stop, though. Instead, he seemed to find joy in making Hawks laugh. "You know, this is what happens when you try to hide your feelings from me. I have to resort to extreme measures."

Dabi kisses around Hawks' belly, sometimes nibbling on it to get a squeak out of his boyfriend. Dabi is loving and gentle with the tickly kisses but doesn't stop until he is sure that Hawks is in a better mood.

Finally, Dabi relented, lifting his head to look at Hawks with a satisfied grin. Hawks' face was flushed, his eyes shining with amusement and gratitude. He wrapped his arms around Dabi, pulling him into a warm embrace.

"Okay, okay," Hawks said, his voice soft now. "You win. I guess I needed that more than I thought."

Dabi's expression softened, and he pressed a gentle kiss to Hawks' forehead. "Just remember, you don't have to hide things from me. I'm here for you, even if it means tickling you until you laugh."

Hawks smiled; his heart full of affection for the man who always knew how to bring light into his darkest moments. They stayed there, wrapped in each other's arms, the earlier tension forgotten in the warmth of their love.

And as the day continued, they found comfort in each other's presence, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they had each other to lean on.
