"I'm so glad you decided to come over this evening, Andy." Tamara smiles "Thankfully you caught us on a meat-free night as I didn't realise you were vegan until just now. I'll remember that for next time though!"
During one of their few conversations to get to know each other, Delia had spoken about how she and her family only eat meat once a week; this was more to accommodate Nick's health after recovering and to try and eat healthier as a family. They also did not fully agree with the meat industry; the more humane meat was always pricier.
"That sounds great, thank you." Andy smiles.
"Andy! So good to see you again son." Nick grins as he walks into the kitchen to spot Andy and Tamara "Where's Lia?"
"She's gone upstairs for something and banished me to here so that I didn't see her 'awkwardly crawl' upstairs. I offered to carry her up but she refused." Andy laughs lightly which makes Nick burst out laughing.
"That sounds like my Lia." Nick laughs "You'll never find a dull moment with her around."
"She definitely has a fire in her." Andy grins feeling his admiration for her shine through.
"Andy? Are you still in the kitchen?" Delia shouts from upstairs.
"Is everything okay?" Andy calls back feeling slightly worried as he makes his way to the hallway where the stairs are.
"All good, just stay in there, please." Delia replies as she lowers herself to the first stair in preparation to have to bum shuffle downstairs, that's when she spots Andy already by the stairs "Andy you don't need to see me like this."
"You trust me don't you?" Andy simply asks making his way up the stairs to her which makes her blush slightly from embarrassment.
"Of course I do." Delia admits. That was enough for Andy before he carefully scoops her up in his arms.
"Grab your crutches and let's go. Your mum said dinner will be done soon." Andy smiles before kissing Delia's forehead.
"Aren't I normally the bossy one?" Delia laughs.
"I guess you just have that effect on me." Andy replies with a wink which makes Delia blush even more than she already was. "Let's go."

"Mum and Dad, how would you both feel about me moving to LA?" Delia asks as if it were nothing, but the question makes Andy's heart swell with joy. Was she actually considering his offer? "Is that something you'd both be okay with?"
"Of course, we'd be okay with that Petal, LA would give you more opportunities for work and I know you've always wanted to move there." Tamara encourages "Have you found a place you can afford there then?"
"Yeah, I think so. I'm still considering it but I have a chance to move there." Delia nods before taking a mouthful of her dinner.
"Are you going to be okay moving away right now though Petal?" Tamara asks "Obviously I would never want to stop you, but with what's happened recently, I just want to make sure you're going to be safe."
"I'll be okay mum, I'll have people around me and worst comes to it I can always phone you and dad." Delia continues as if it was nothing; Andy still in awe and trying his hardest not to grin like an idiot.
"Is this place by any chance near or to do with Andy?" Nick questions looking between the two with a knowing smirk.
"Yeah, kind of." Delia confesses.
"Well look, me and your mother, we rushed into things and look what it brought us. I'm not saying to not do it but make sure it is something that you both want." Nick states before looking at Andy "Make sure you look after her, yeah? You seem a great guy and you clearly make Delia happy, but she's always going to be my little girl and I will not be held accountable for my actions should anyone hurt her. If I had it my way, I'd be going to Seattle and giving that son of bitch a piece of my mind, he'd be lucky if he could breathe on his own after I'm through with him!"
