"Hey!" Shevy smiles excitedly walking into the room where the band sat eating lunch

"Shevy, it's great to see you again!" CC smiles back.

"Okay so vibe check now I'm back, Lonny, still like your weird snacks?" Shevy asks pointing to the youngest member of the band.

"Always." Lonny laughs nodding his head.

"I'll make sure to leave some whole wheat bread and Cheerios laying around. And Andy, still tofu and rice after every show right?" Shevy continues then turning her attention to the singer.

"Yeah that would be great mate." Andy nods keeping a straight face and monotone voice.

"Great." Shevy nods awkwardly; she would be lying if she said she wasn't hoping that Andy had gotten a grip on himself since the last time she toured with him. Of course she felt bad for him after things fell apart for him and she witnessed how low he was for the longest time but the mood swings did complicate her work as a make up artist and assistant manager. "Where's Jake?"

"Oh, he's with our new sound tech girl. Apparently the venue has had a few issues regarding their sound board or something and Jake, being the nerd he is, decided he wanted in to try and get some tips from Delia." Jinxx explains.

"Oh yeah, I was informed about that, well it'll be great to have another female on this tour, no offence to you guys." Shevy laughs "What's she like?"

"She seems chill." Lonny replies smiling.

"Infuriating." Andy speaks up at the same time as Lonny.

"Well we haven't had much of a chance to fully get to know her due to Moody Biersack over here." CC states flat out after a small time of awkward silence.

"Oh fuck you C." Andy moans standing up as if to make an exit just as the door opens. "Oh here we go, speaking of. Good job I was just leaving." Andy then storms past both Jake and Delia.

"Well, um, you'll be pleased to know that there was no real issue with the sound board and I've managed to make some adjustments in order for the mics to work. Had to borrow some different ear piece packs to connect it all up properly, but we should be good to go for soundcheck once you guys are ready." Delia explains trying her hardest to ignore Andy's storm out.

"Yeah, she's saying no real issues, lads this girl is like a fucking wizard! Even I didn't have a fucking clue what she was doing. Like what was it you said? Before you sorted the measures out it picked up low level speaking but not singing? How is that possible?" Jake rambles whilst making a hand gesture to imply his head had exploded.

"Delia, hi, I'm Shevy. It's so lovely to finally meet you and not just be in contact via the occasional email!" Shevy grins bringing the sound tech girl in for a hug.

"It's lovely to meet you too! It's so nice to have another female on the team for once!" Delia smiles which causes Shevy to laugh.

"Right? I legit just said the exact same thing to these guys!" Shevy explains whilst still laughing.

"Sorry to break this up but are we going to completely ignore the fact that a microphone can be able to pick up low level speaking but not singing? Like, how can a microphone just cut itself out like that?" Jake continues to ramble through his shock.

"Sometimes Jake, there is a lot to learn and even then it doesn't all make sense." Delia giggles slightly whilst patting the guitarist on the back. "Anyway, whenever you guys are ready I would appreciate it a lot if one of you could grab Andy for soundcheck; pretty sure I'm the last person he wants to see."

------------------------

"So is Andy as much a dick to you as he has been to me so far?" Delia asks Shevy as the two of them enter their smaller tour bus they were sharing; the show had finished and they had just finished packing away all their equipment so decided to have some girl time away from the guys to get to know each other a little more. After all, it's very rare to be working with another female in an industry like this and considering they were also sharing a bus they agreed it would make things less awkward.

"Kind of. It's weird for us if I'm being honest. I worked with the guys when their toured with Motionless in White and Ice Nine Kills and he was a good guy back then, but then things went bad for him and now he kind of shuts off to everyone." Shevy explains.

"Yeah, CC said the same sort of thing, what happened to him?" Delia continues to question; it was very obvious to her that she wasn't going to get answers from Andy himself so she thought it might help if she fully understood the guy.

"Um... Well it's awkward to be honest. You see he was married to another singer in this sort of music scene and anyway they had some issues between them which they resolved. It was all due to alcohol misuse and they made shitty decisions and had a big thing happen between them. They initially both went sober but then she broke that and caused more issues. Long story short they couldn't resolve it  and it ended in a pretty messy divorce." Shevy explains nervously. "He doesn't really talk about it anymore, but obviously, when it all first happened it was in most magazines considering they were seen as the golden couple of the rock scene. After it all happened he just changed and has been like that ever since."

"Damn, I didn't realise he was married at one point." Delia admits. "That would explain a lot, can't say I massively blame him for reacting the way he has done, must have been rough for his self esteem."

"Yeah well all the guys are married bar Andy but I guess you haven't really had a chance get to know them in that way if Andy is being so harsh towards you." Shevy shrugs feeling awkward about the topic whilst also feeling bad for the woman who knew nothing about the guy who was being so bleak towards her. "Look, just try not to let him get to you."

"Yeah I'm trying to ignore him. I mean I did have a clash with him yesterday, some things were said and I flipped him off in the end." Delia sighs. "I just really love my job and this is a big break for me. I'm worried about it getting screwed up because of him."

"I get that honey, but Andy alone won't cause you to lose this job, you don't need to worry about that." Shevy smiles reaching out a hand to Delia's hand to bring some sort of comfort. "Look, after tomorrow night's show we have a day off. Give it a couple of days more and we'll likely just sleep all day on a day off so how about we do a girls day whilst we have the energy? We can go shopping or something and just get away from guys for a little bit. Gives us a little bit of bonding time too, then that way we can gang up on the guys a little bit if need be." Shevy then starts laughing which causes Delia to laugh.

"Yeah, that sounds like a great plan, thanks Shevy." Delia grins

"Us girls have got to stick together right?" Shevy teases trying to boost Delia's mood a little bit further.

"Yeah, definitely." Delia agrees.

But deep down, Delia couldn't help but to feel bad for Andy. Yes he was still a dick but she could see why now and Delia was always one to feel bad for people; she hated to know people were hurting. Her natural instinct is to try to help people. But Andy definitely was not the sort of person who wanted to be helped, Delia knew that. Yet she couldn't help but wonder if she could befriend him and bring him some sort of comfort.
