Three years later.

Katya Cotta's POV

Katya had changed a lot throughout the past three years. Her appearance, her attitude, her life, and the way she acted. She had cut her hair, leaving it short and spiky. She had gotten her tongue, nose, nipples, lips, and belly button pierced. She had tattoos on various parts of her body. Her wardrobe consisted of mostly black clothing. She loved anything that gave her an adrenaline rush. She spent a lot of time with Sasha and Derrick. She owned her own restaurant, bakery, and catering service. She had become a very wealthy women, she was known for her excellent service. She had and I-don't-take-any-bullshit attitude that had people a little afraid of her, yet she was the nicest person they would ever meet.

She had come into her full powers when she had turned eighteen, and had learned how to keep them at bay. Derrick and Sasha had assured her that she smelled like a human and that no wolf would know that she was mage. Not even her purple eyes would give it away.

Today Sasha and Derrick were coming over to Katya's house so that she could officially be introduced to their Alpha and his pack. Derrick had reassured her that they thought that she was just a human child that they had adopted. She couldn't afford for people to know exactly who she was, which she had only learned from books. She was the daughter of the mage King Alexandre Cotta, her father, and Queen Sofie Cotta, her mother. She had been mad at her parents for lying to her, but she had realized that had had no choice. They had gone into hiding to protect her. She was the princess, or the queen now that her parents were dead. But her kingdom seemed to be doing just fine on their own, so she didn't interrupt their happiness. She wasn't really fit to be a queen anyways.

A knock at her front door had Katya coming out of her reverie. She turned the burner on her stove lower as she wiped her hands on her apron, before pulling it off and setting it on her granite counter. She walked around the granite kitchen island and headed to the front door. She walked past her large spacious black furnished living room to the large wooden front door. She opened it and smiled as she saw Derrick with a bouquet of purple tulips. He brought them to her every time he visited, telling her they symbolized her nobility, strength, passion, and love.

"Der, come in." she smiled as she took the flowers from him. He walked in and closed the door behind him, then followed Katya back into the large kitchen.

"I still can't believe you live in this mini mansion, Katita." Derrick said in awe as Katya placed the flowers in a vase. She chuckled and turned to look at him, he hadn't really changed. Well, he had a lot of muscles, but he had always had those.

"I did offer you and Sasha your own home, but you guys insisted on living with your pack." she said, amused at his awe struck face as he looked around like if he hadn't been here billions of times.

"Yes, well that, and we wouldn't feel right taking your money. Even if you don't listen and buy us expensive cars and gifts." he said, playfully turning an angry glare at her.

"Come on, Der, they weren't even that expensive. They're just two simple black Audi R8's." Katya chuckled.

"They're still expensive, and it's weird when people stare at us every time we drive." he told her, but she knew he liked the attention he got.

"Der, you like that attention and you know it." She said as she turned to stir the pasta sauce she had on the stove. She also had her alfredo sauce in the process of finishing.

"It smells good in here, what are you making, Katita?" Derrick asked as he peeked into her two ovens. He made a noise that sounded like a girly squeal as he saw the cookies and brownies that Katya had baking in there. He turned to her with a big smile on his face. He could be such a child sometimes.
