Katya's POV

Katya squealed when Daemon pinned her iagainst the wall. He buried his head in her neck and ground his hips against hers. She could feel his hardened manhood against her hips and she blushed. She had never been with a man like this before. Daemon nipped at her neck and she groaned.

"Daemon...I..." She stopped as Daemon cupped her breasts through her blouse. What was he doing to her? Daemon pulled back to look at her and she blushed even more. He looked confused and she buried her face against his neck in embarrassment.

"Fuck." He said as he figured it out. He pulled away from her and ran his hands through his hair. "You've never been with anyone have you?"

"No." She replied as she shook her head.

"Why? Not that I mind, but...how old are you anyways?" He stopped pacing as he interrogated her.

"Well, like I said earlier, I have issues. And to answer your other question, I'm only 20." He gaped at her with his mouth hanging open. Katya bit her lip to keep from laughing and tapped his chin. He closed his mouth and resumed with his pacing. She watched as he walked back and forth, looking as if he was debating something important in his head. He finally stopped after a few moments and stared at her.

"I'm going to do this right, baby. I promise." He walked to her and cupped her face gently. "Prepare to get thoroughly courted and wooed."

"Wait does that mean you won't kiss me? Or touch me?" Katya asked. She liked what he had done just a few seconds ago. It felt nice...well, it felt good. He laughed and shook his head.

"I don't think I'm strong enough to not to kiss you, so yes I'll be kissing you. Quite a lot actually." He proved his words as he leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on her lips. She was about to deepen the kiss, but he pulled away and chuckled. Katya pouted and pushed him playfully away.

"Daemon!" She whined and he shook his head with a smile playing on his lips.

"So eager." She opened her mouth to say something, but the timer on her oven went off. She pointed and glared at Daemon before rushing into the kitchen. She pulled on her oven mitts and pulled her cake out of the oven. It smelled so good. She set it down on the counter, and waited for it to cool down.

Daemon came in and sat on a stool in front of the kitchen bar. They stared at each other for a while before Katya spoke.

"Daemon, I'm not human and I'm not really blood related to Derrick and Sasha. At all." She bit her lip as she told him. She was worried that he would be mad. Der had informed her that the pack thought she was some distant cousin of theirs.

"So, what are you to them?" He asked with an impassive face. Should she tell him the truth? She opted with yes.

"My parents were best friends with Sasha and her husband. When my parents died, they took me in. I've been with Sasha and Derrick since then." She said as she looked down at her hands. Memories were flooding her mind and she smiled sadly. "They've put up with a lot since I've been with them, Daemon. I don't know what I'd do without them." She sniffled and Daemon walked around the kitchen bar to wrap her up in his arms.

"Baby, they aren't going anywhere. They're safe here in my pack. I make sure everyone in my pack is safe. There's nothing to worry about." He kissed her hair as he wiped her tears away. She sniffled and sniffled closer.

"I know they're safe. I know that they're perfectly capable of protecting themselves, but I can't help worrying about them. I've lost enough of close people to me. I don't want to lose any more." Katya sighed and closed her eyes as she thought about her parents and Christian. Yes, she knew they were okay and happy, but they were still gone. She missed them terribly, but was glad they were in a good place.
