- He met Kusari when she moved to Canada since she got a job and he asked that if he could help her out with the boxes for her, and she said yes and he helped her out and then they introduce themselves and started talking to each other, and they got along really as they took each others' phone numbers in order to keep each other in contact.

- As time went on they went from friends to best friends then it was turned into crushes as they continue to either hang out in person or text to each other on the phone, until one day. Mordecai decided that he want to confess his feelings to Kusari, but he was nervous and wonders what if she rejects him and only sees him as a friend.

- Sierra notices this and asked him if he was okay, he said that he was fine but Sierra knows that he was lying and that's when he decided to spill the beans about his crush on Kusari and asked that if she could help him out and she said yes and helps her brother out with his crush, which it worked and he texted her to meet him at his place for a talk, and so she went to his crib and asked him on what does he wanna talk about and that's when he confessed his feelings to her, which made her blush in surprise and he wonders that if there's any chance at all if she feels the same way about him, and to his surprise. Kusari confessed her feelings to Mordecai, meaning that she feels the same way and they started dating as a result.

- Sierra and Justin were happy to hear that their older brother is dating Kursai and they supported him for it.

- He likes to read mystery literature in his free time.

- He has a tattoo gun in his room and often uses it on fake flesh for practice.

- He toned down his bad boy persona when he was in college and he promised himself on not to end up like his dad, otherwise it's not going to be pretty.

- After what happened to Sierra and her suicide attempt at her school, he got more protective of her than ever before and he promised her that he will always be there for her and he apologize for not being there with her since he was busy on his mental health and not knowing that she was in pain. (Although Sierra did forgive him but he couldn't help but feel guilty about it.)

- He often cooks like a pro in the kitchen and he knows on how to make great food.

- He makes sure that the rent and payments would always be taken care of, just so that he wouldn't have to worry about economy problems.
